If you want to stay in one of the most interesting, cool, and delux neighbourhoods in Tokyo, while enjoying a uniquely Tokyo hotel experience, Hotel Mustard is an excellent choice. The staff are super friendly and helpful; breakfast at the cafe downstairs is delicious, high quality, and convenient; and honestly, if you love vinyl records and minimalist Tokyo style, this hotel ticks all the boxes. Itâs excellent value for a neighbourhood like this. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Not my kind of place, bare bones rooms, but hey they have record players in the rooms and records you can borrow in the lobby so it gets street cred points huh?
Breakfast was lame, coffee shop stuff that runs out of most stuff early, not too much in the way of choices either
I had six nights booked here and left after two to move to a better hotel
Wouldnât stay here again
If you want super trendy Shimo-kitawaza and records to play in your room, stay here, if you want better, less expensive hotels, stay just about anywhere else
