It's a no-brainer this is a prime location. Absolutely everything is nearby. Cheap food at ikea right across the street any time of day, LCBO, eaton, any restaurant and good stall you can imagine, a ciniplex, just everything is there. The staff buzz around like they need everything done yesterday. The room was maybe not the fanciest I've been to, but it was in fact spotless. The amenities were extremely clean and easy to access. Whenever I had a question one of the staff could answer it on the fly with no issues. There was a whole flock of junior hockey players checking in with their guardians and they were hearded by the hotel staff in such a way that they barely caused any disturbance (major accomplishment if you know anything about teenage boys). I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay downtown.

Overall, I had a great stay at Chelsea Hotel. The room was big and well laid out. Its central location made it easy to eat at several restaurants. The only thing that affected my stay in a negative way was the inadequate sound insulation between rooms. On Christmas eve, I was awakened by children shouting in the next room, with presumably their dad shouting from time to time. Add to that the constant banging of the door. Otherwise, my stay would have been perfect.

All the staff were so nice. We had a dog with us and we had no problems at all. The receptionist was also so nice to give us a free upgrade since we decided to extend our stay for one more night! We'll definitely come back here again.

The water slide was closed it was the reason we booked. Parking was very expensive and you could hear when the room above you flushed the toilet. It was a great location for walking around but I would stay at a more modern hotel next time.
