"The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. The room was clean and had a nice large balcony. All of the food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. This was likely due to our rooms proximity to the main building, but very loud music played past midnight every night making it difficult to sleep. All in all, we had a really wonderful time and highly recommend staying at Ocean Maya Royale. "

"I consider my review to be as objective as possible, as I am an experienced traveler. What can I say about the hotel? If you are looking for peace, privacy, decent à la carte food (no buffet), and wonderful, attentive staff, then this hotel is definitely for you. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and surrounded by lush greenery. You literally live in the middle of the jungle — among palm trees, vines, and many interesting animals that do not disturb you at all, so there is no need to be afraid. Yes, there is a pond with crocodiles on the property, but during our 10-day stay we saw a crocodile only once. Rather than being a downside, it adds a sense of exotic adventure and variety to the experience. As for the downsides: if you have mobility issues, a disability, or are traveling with elderly people, you should carefully consider whether this hotel is suitable for you. The hotel is not equipped with ramps. To access one of the restaurants for dinner, you must climb three flights of stairs — there is no elevator or alternative access. The restaurant is located on the second floor. The same applies to access to the beach and the swimming pool, both of which require using stairs. This was quite challenging for my husband (who uses a walker) and for my elderly parents. That said, the staff are very kind and helpful and will assist whenever possible. I would also like to mention some inconveniences for guests traveling with pets. We stayed with our small 4 kg poodle. Although th"
