The manager Chris is a true philanthropist. He is a huge support to his local community

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
I stayed at the Accent Inn Vancouver Airport for three weeks and had a wonderful stay. It is very convenient and has a shuttle that will take you to the airport every 20 - 30 minutes. The shuttle will also drop you off at the Skytrain station, so Vancouver is only a half an hour away. I was treated really well and had a lovely stay. Chris the manager went out of his way to ensure I was comfortable. He is a businessman who understands that great customer service is what keeps people coming back and spreading the word. Recommend it highly!

Room must have formerly been a smoking room as it had a funny smell to it. Maybe it was the carpet. Room was very clean.

Check in

Pros: Clean and friendly staff
Cons: I really can't pin point it.
Location: Not much around. Really suburban, but close to airport
My reservation was 297.00 but was charged 400.00 at check in. Thought that I was going to have to sleep in my rental car.

Something gave me a rash and my husband itches all night. Not sure if it was the soap, sheets or towels

Convenient for early morning airport departure.

Pros: Convenient airport access. Appreciate the free 24h shuttle. Clean.
I appreciate the free shuttle from YVR. Hotel staff gave me good directions on how to get to the hotel from the ferry terminal (i.e. take bus and Skytrain to the airport, hotel shuttle to the hotel). When I reserved through Travelocity, price was US$78 or about $105 CAD. I chose to pay at the hotel rather than online in advance, in case my travel plans changed. When I arrived, the price was US$100 or $130 CAD. I was in a rush and did not convert currency completely accurately, so chose US$ to avoid yet more possible price increases (I live in US). The actual currency rates that day should have put the US price at US$96. The hotel staff told me the price included a $15 CAD security deposit for smoking in the room or other damage, which would be refunded to my card after about 5 business days. I am watching for this refund. Even with the refund, however, I will end up paying $115 CAD or US$85 to US$90. You say you can't post reviews that include room rates - but would be helpful to know the Travelocity rate cannot be counted on. When I called the shuttle from the airport pick-up area, they told me shuttle would be there in about 10 minutes. I waited nearly 20 minutes. Not a big deal, but I would rather know the actual wait time than something that sounds better but is not true.

Hello Anonymous I am glad that our 24/7 airport shuttle was convenient for your traveling needs and that the directions provided by our team were helpful. We have verified the rates (Canadian dollars) received from Travelocity verses what we charged at the hotel (Canadian dollars) and found that both rates matched. At time of check in a authorization is taken for the deposit and room/tax. At checkout the authorization is used to settle your invoice and the remainder released. There is a processing time on the card holder's issuing bank side for the remainder of the funds to be released. Regards, Yogesh Sharma

Very comfortable stay

Pros: Staff, comfort, location
Location: just in for the night from the airport
Great stay! The staff were very helpful, the hotel was easy to find and convenient from the airport via the free shuttle. The room was very comfortable and clean for a budget hotel.

Noise from the heater

Pros: location
Cons: noise from the heater
Location: Lots of restaurants, night market, shopping mall and outlet too
This Inn is clean and comfortable except the noise from the heater every 15 seconds which is very annoying during night time. Otherwise, I love the location and proximity to shopping and eating place in Richmond.
