No hot tub which was a bit of a bummer as the pool was a little on the chilly side. Rooms were a bit outdated but nothing that would ruin the stay. Breakfast was simple but good. Staff were wonderful. The free parking was a bonus and close to transit so was a nice easy trip in to downtown Vancouver. Room was quiet, did not hear the road or any other guests.

The staff was lovely and our room was clean and quiet. The hotel is located in basically a residential area, but very close to transit and just across the bridge from Stanley Park, which was convenient. We were pretty disappointed with the breakfast.

Clean. That's about it.

It was a perfectly clean room and fine for somewhere to lay our head for the night. The employees were nice enough. But make no mistake: this place is an absolute dump. Crappy part of town, wallpaper peeling, exposed plumbing painted landlord style, a room door you need to shoulder check to open, etc. The price point is an absolute disaster for what it is. Do I think I caught anything sleeping there? No. Would I go back? Oh my god no.

The Econo Lodge in North Vancouver was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room smelled musty, the carpet was sticky, and the furniture looked like it was rescued from a garage sale. The bathroom had mold in the corners and rust around the fixtures — definitely not the “clean and comfortable” place they advertise. But the absolute low point was the so-called complimentary breakfast. Instead of something fresh, they keep prepackaged muffins, bagels, and yogurt sitting in a refrigerator like leftovers nobody wants. The food was cold, tasteless, and honestly looked like it had been sitting there for days. Calling that a breakfast is an insult. Wi-Fi barely worked, walls were paper thin, and the staff didn’t seem to care at all about complaints. For what they charge, it’s a complete rip-off. Do yourself a favor and book literally anywhere else in North Vancouver — this place is nothing but a disappointment.

The property is dated and the room smelled quite musty. We booked a „deluxe“ room and expected a bit more. The breakfast was prepackaged and needed to be warmed in a microwave. Overall not worth what we paid for.
