The girl at the reception (Terry) was very informative and made me feel welcome. I would like to appreciate and acknowledge her kind attitude. She was very understanding of my situation and extended my stay for 1.5 hours happily and gave me a quiet room.

Getting the airport shuttle to pick me up at the airport was a nightmare. I called ahead of time to make sure I had all of the details correct. I went to the correct location and called to let them know I was there, per their instructions. I verified exactly where I was and the receptionist said, "don't worry he will find you and he will be there in 3 minutes." I waited about 20 minutes and he never showed. I called again and she said she would call the driver to see where he was. I never heard back so I called yet again and she said he was in the wrong spot and thought I was upstairs???! Even though I had confirmed I was in the correct location during my first call. He finally showed up 45 minutes later. I understand the shuttle is free, but waiting 45 minutes when I was quoted 3 minutes and the fact that I had to call REPEATEDLY is not acceptable. No one apologized or anything either. I missed breakfast that day at the hotel due to their delays and I was conveniently scheduled before breakfast to return to the airport, even though I asked for a later time. The return to the airport was messed up as well. I checked out of the hotel and told the receptionist that I would be outside waiting at the shuttle. The driver finally comes out and said they had been calling my room looking for me. Horrible shuttle service. Hotel was fine otherwise. Would not stay here again.

Took the shuttle to the airport for our departing flight and the driver left one of our pieces of luggage back at the hotel. We had to wait while he went back for it. Good thing we had lots of time before our departure.

I had a really pleasant experience at the Holiday Inn Express Vancouver Airport. The airport shuttle was super convenient and ran right on schedule, which made getting to and from the airport stress-free. The staff were friendly, efficient, and welcoming, which really set the tone for my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a short visit. I also appreciated the complimentary continental breakfast in the morning — a nice selection of options to start the day before heading out. Overall, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a comfortable, convenient stay near YVR with great service and amenities. Highly recommend!

Has two EV J1772 charger so if you have a Tesla, bring an adapter. Breakfast is decent and coffee is good. Room is clean and good size. Room has microwave, Kurig coffee maker, and a refrigerator. Costco is across the street and 7-Eleven is one block away. There's a Tesla place across the street from Costco, but I didn't go there. Each room has its own independent AC so can control your own comfort. Only negative issue is they do not provide bottle water and no room slipper, so bring your own.
