How close is Cozy home close to downtown and Uvic to the airport?
This vacation home is 2.9 mi (12-min drive) away from the Victoria, BC (YWH-Victoria Inner Harbour Seaplane Base) airport, the closest popular airport to the property.
Positives: Convenient location, easy check in, property manager responded promptly to questions. Beds were reasonably comfortable, well-appointed kitchen.Negatives: Property and house are very run-down, as is the suite - broken and rickety furniture, torn shower curtain, dingy walls, broken blinds on the windows. Suite was not well cleaned (cobwebs, dusty, food from previous guests left in freezer, moldy organics bin...).With a little care and effort, it could be a decent place to stay, but in its current state, not remotely worth the cost.
Spacious, clean, servicable. Property is in an older home that is (I think) in the process of being updated. Beds were comfortable. Furnishings are servicable. Floirs slope a bit oddly and entry door is very low. Good access to University of Victoria.
The property was very clean and had everything we needed. It is in a great location to access many areas in Victoria. My only criticism is the pillows in the beds are not good. Otherwise we were very happy.
Although there was nothing wrong with the property itself, there was a lot that needs tending to. The grass/ bushes are overgrown outside and inside there are very clear patches on walls/ the ceiling everywhere. The room my husband and I stayed in was fine, we were provided a fan which we truly appreciated! The room my parents stayed in however, my father said his pillow smelled like pee which makes for an unpleasant experience. There were also only 3 towels provided for 4 grown adults which luckily we didnât stay for long so we didnât need more but it could have been tricky if we were there any longer. I did appreciate the parking, there were plenty of spots and I had an F 150 to fit into the spots which can be challenging in Victoria. My truck fit no problem as did another full size half ton truck. Overall, I would stay here again if I had to but Iâve stayed in better places in Victoria.
The place was very clean and comfortable. It looks better in person than it does in the pictures. Entirely reasonable at the price. Thanks for a good stay!
With some minor renovations and fresh paint this would be an excellent place for a large group to stay. King bed needs a pillow top for comfort.
We appreciated 3 separate sleeping areas.
On the plus side, the property is conveniently located; the unit is large and has a complete kitchen. I chose it for its location, size, 2-bedroom, and because our unit was accessible for the elderly in our party, meaning it had a level entrance. On the down side, the ancient toilet ran continually and noisily, the kitchen tap leaked continuously, and we found mouldy and way out-of-date food. The yard is unkempt and strewn with cigarette butts.
This unit is clean, quiet, and tidy. The kitchen has all the basics for cooking and thereâs a coin-op laundry in the building. Itâs close to grocery, ATM, and bus lines. It was a perfect home base for our family to explore Victoria and feel at home at the end of each day.
