We made a last minute reservation and Nick was super helpful and responsive throughout before and during our stay. The place is a right off Elmwood ave where many restaurants, bars and music venues are without needing a car. Highly recommend this place.

A great spot from which to stage a visit to Buffalo. A lot of nice quick eats, bars, and "long eats" (sit down places) plus a mid-street park with pop-up "farmers' market" type events on weekends. Surprisingly decent on-street parking and a safe vibe.

This property was very outdated, unappealing walk up which I’ll chalk up to winter, hallway roof stains, very worn out noisy uneven wooden floors, old rusted vents, bad lighting with old shower. I feel bad for writing this, but it was really unexpected. The beds were the newest things and were clean and slept well. The couch felt worn, living room table wasn’t clean and overall the place just didn’t feel clean. Some may think it’s vintage, but I wouldn’t recommend. Owner needs to update.

Family reunion in Buffalo

Great place for our Canadian and American families to meet and explore this area. Clean, safe, interesting part of Buffalo with lots of things to do. The apartment was excellent and the host responded quickly to our questions. We loved Elmwood Village and Allentown. Day trips to Niagara Falls, Riverworks, the Art Gallery and the Eternal Flame. So many good restaurants with wonderful outdoor patios.

The place was clean and updated. The refurbishing of a home built in 1900 was well done. We did notice a musty smell as soon as we opened the door so we had to buy candles to mask the smell. The host was quick to respond and did provide a mid-stay cleaning with fresh towels.

Although there was some confusion concerning which unit we would occupy for the stay it all worked out. The area the house is in is located near all the places we wanted to visit for the abbreviated stay. The next time we visit Buffalo this place will be the first choice. I appreciate the overall way the listing is presented (it is not required to first pick what type of rental you want which is confusing).
