On Friday night had a group of 13 over for dinner in the restaurant. Staff would not let us pull up a chair to the table to accommodate one person, that person left the restaurant. We should all gotten up and walked out, but then we would’ve had to drive somewhere else. We were staying at the hotel.

Renovated!!

Renovations in process. Our room was completely done - NEW!!! Turning shower on without getting sprayed with cool water was a little tricky but minor “problem.” Breakfast was delicious and was included in cost of room. Delightful. Carson City is very nice, spread out and easy to maneuver. Beautiful. Cannot say enough good about this piece of our trip. )This establishment does include a casino.)

Wonderful experience love the staff , there is no bathtubs but showers are warm and spacious which makes up for it rooms are super clean and tidy and breakfast is free every morning you stay !! Can’t beat that stay definitely will going there again next time my family’s in town

Due to construction, some things tend to get overlooked such as gap in door, floors getting super wet when opening the shower door etc. Although it isn’t completely finished, I hope they will consider these things and correct them.

Not worth the price anymore

The doors to the superior king rooms slam very loudly so the guests coming and going all through out the very early morning hours kept me awake. The included breakfast has declined tremendously and was inedible. This is something that we consider when weighing the cost, so this makes the rooms not worth the cost. We didn’t even use our “free” breakfast the second morning so we had to pay for food elsewhere. However the room was nice.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gold Dust Hotel Casino. The staff was excellent very accommodating and extremely personable. The restaurant provided a wide range of options at excellent prices. The room was clean and well appointed. The casino provided a wide range of machines and games. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Updated and nice. Very smoky

Very nice rooms and good food in restaurant. However casino smoke is strong in the hotel lobby and halls. Room smelled ok. Hot tub and pool are seasonal and were closed. Breakfast requires you to eat at the restaurant which we did not have time for. I’d prefer to go options.
