"Overall, I would rate Hotel Casa Bella as “okay.” It’s not a place for luxury, but it serves its purpose well if you know what to expect. The building is quite old, and the rooms reflect that. Don’t expect modern standards — this is a basic stay with a bed, TV, mini fridge, microwave, and the essentials for a short visit. The biggest advantage is the location: it’s right in downtown Montreal, next to Place des Arts. In the summer, it’s very easy to walk to performances, festivals, and lively pedestrian streets nearby. It’s also close to grocery stores, public transit, and Central Station, making day trips to Quebec City or Ottawa convenient. Be sure to check whether your room has a private or shared bathroom. Shared facilities are usable but not very clean, and the rooms and furniture are quite old, with visible dust in places. The water temperature was also unstable, which was the main issue during my stay. On the positive side, it was quiet at night, and I slept well. Overall, it’s an affordable option in a great location that meets basic needs, as long as expectations are realistic."

"Very little to no amenities. No continental breakfast. Has someone else’s name on the tv the whole time I was there. Towels were dirty when I got there and tried to get wash out the stains as much as I could. If it wasn’t a super last minute trip and I had a better budget I would’ve stayed at the Sheraton. Will be staying at the Sheraton if I ever come back to Montreal"
