The stay was great! Staff were so kind and informative. There was a free cocktail for every person staying as well. Only complaint is the food we took back to our room was a considerably smaller than eating downstairs but that’s the only bad thing to be said! Would definitely stay here again!

So clean, modern and fun. We absolutely loved it and it was worth every penny. Loved how safe and clean the underground parking garage was. The best hotel gym I’ve ever been to, I highly recommend this place.

Had a wonderful short stay here at the Montreal Moxy Hotel. Staff at front desk were welcoming. Hotel felt quite new and had a modern vibe to it. Pool and sauna were nice too although the hot tub was out of order during our visit. Gym had all the equipment needed for a workout. Bonus we were provided with a free welcome cocktail. Stayed in a double queen room. Beds were comfy and bathroom was spacious. There was a small fridge and safe to keep your valuables. Room came with 2 bottles of water. Water kettle is available from the laundry room. Parking was $40 including tax. There are two floors of parking however if it’s a busy weekend, it can be challenging as many spots were taken and spots were tight to park. Hotel is in walking distance to many attractions and restaurants.

Good property, but noisy

Nice hotel, brand new (opened for 1.5 months when I stayed) so clean. Room was bigger than expected, probably due to minimalistic design which I actually appreciate. Everything I needed was available, welcome drink was appreciated on a hot humid day. Few things however kinda ruined the experience for me: 1) A/C in the room was beyond loud, like really loud, probably in my top 10 loudest in over 600 hotel stays, which is not to be expected with a brand new hotel. I've had PTACs right next to beds that were 10 times quieter than whatever this system was. I had to shut down AC at night, temperature in the room went from 18 to 24. 2) Floor was cleaned and then room cleaning went back in the bathroom for some reason, you could tell by the prints on the ceramic... so clean floors probably had whatever was under their shoe sole dragged back on them which is probably not that big of a deal for a new hotel but still...you would expect to do everything in the room and then clean the floors as you move out, leaving only clean floors for the guests to walk on. That being said the room was super clean, that is me being picky.

The waiting time in the lobby is quite long. I waited about 20 minutes to check in (and it wasn’t even at peak hours). I asked for a quiet room because I was staying for 5 nights and I’m a light sleeper and I was given possibly the least quiet room of the floor: right in front of the “stash” room and next to the HVAC column that is immensely loud. I could hear the ventilation extremely clearly in my room and it’s not even a continuous noise as it’s pulsing. It’s also resonating in the pillows. Also, the room was close to the elevators that are making a loud beep when arriving on the floor and play loud music night & day. The clerk gave me this room saying that no one had complained about the noise in this room so I’ll go on the record and say that it’s extremely loud. Hopefully it won’t be given again to someone who specifically asks for a quiet room. I was put in a different room the day after and it was much better. The pool is very nice (although too warm) and the gym as well. The music everywhere is a bit too loud, especially during the supposedly “quiet times” at night (they don’t lower the volume). No breakfast offered. There’s a breakfast service that is very mediocre with a long line. Overall an okay hotel but apart from the gym and pool it’s not worth the price I would say.

The ceiling was very water stained and we couldn’t figure out if it was on purpose or not. There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang wet towels. There were only 2 towels and there were 3 of us. Other than that the service and staff were good.
