pleasant staff, lots of parking. Breakfast average, but not available until 830am which is late for many travellers who want to get on the road or have work/meetings. pool hours also very limited, start 230 pm. Rooms need a good cleaning, visible dirt on walls near heater/ac system, no bath matt provided, no recycling bins.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this place has been kept despite it being an older property. The decor was outdated but overall very clean, had all of the essentials, reliable internet and a smart TV. Great for short trips with lots of food options within walking distance.

You get whats expected for the price you paid. Good price, comfortable stay. Its decent and clean enough. Not the most up to date but i wouldnt have expected 5 star for the price.

The room was in great shape and was clean. The rest could use some work. Cluttered hallways, dim lighting in the main area and a mediocre breakfast at best. The sausages were good, but hard boiled eggs were hard to peel and they didnt even have ketchup. Simple but also shows a lack of attention to detail.

We had a great weekend there and were treated so well. My only remark is to have a few more options for eggs for breakfast(or have the hardboiled eggs peeled), heat the pool, and have the hot tub available. Other than that, the staff were amazing and it was a beautiful hotel.

Overall good location, friendly owners. However the bed in my room was very wobbly, and sound isolation is terrible. bathroom and washroom also needs major renovation. For the price though, it’s a great choice.

The hotel looks nice from the outside but inside is run down, tired and our room was not very clean. There was a huge cobweb above one bed, currents and corn on carpet which had seen better days, the entry door had the lock jimmied at some point, the patio door wouldn't lock due to broken latch ( thankfully there was a security bar), garbage on patio, domestic in room next door at midnight for half hour until tennants were removed. Breakfast was minimal and we appeared to be the only people attending (the place has tennants living there full time). A basket with money obviously was to Ask for tips at breakfast!! The only positive was comfortable beds and clean sheets. Would not recommend.

Weekend getaway

The AC/heater didn't work, the couch was broken. One of the bed sheets had blood spots on it. Washroom was very clean, the Jacuzzi was also very clean. The pool water was extremely cold, also the pool are would be freezing closing duiring winter. It's definitely not a heated pool. My room didn't come with a ice tub for the room, it say the hotel was under reservation for 6 month. This hotel was extremely outdated, definitely not sound proof. I was disappointed, but made the best of my trip.
