The Carriage/Cottage house next to the Holley-Rankine House is a historic home located at Niagara Falls in Niagara County, New York. It is on the 2nd story above the garage. It was built about 1855 by prominent local resident George Washington Holley (1810–1897). After his death it became the home of William B. Rankine (1858–1905), who was largely responsible for constructing the Adams Power Plant. It is located just above the American Falls. It is now operated as a short term rental.
The space
This unique carriage house has its own charm. It has one bedroom apartment above the garage next to the main building the Holley-Rankine house with its own kitchen and washroom; It is an ideal destination for a romantic get-away.
