Located in Playacar Pase I; a gated community of high-end homes and is adjacent to the downtown area of Playa Del Carmen. La Quinta Avenida (Fifth Avenue) is a short walk from Casa Miramar where shops, restaurants, cafes, art galleries, water sports, tours, bars, and live entertainment are located. This home has everything you could want. With marble flooring throughout and completely equipped with amenities, Casa Miramar has fabulous view of the ocean can be enjoyed from almost every room and especially from the comfortable patio adjacent to the private pool or the spacious 2nd floor terrace. Both the patio and terrace are perfect spots from which to enjoy the ocean breeze and spend time with your family and friends.

Almost 300 square feet of construction with 2 stories, this spacious 4 bedroom and 4 bathrooms home is fully air-conditioned with ceiling fans in each of the bedrooms. The first floor features 3 bedrooms, comfortable living room with large flat screen TV, dining room and kitchen. The first of two master bedrooms is located on this floor and has a king bed, while the other downstairs bedrooms each have two double beds. The master bedroom located on the second floor also has a king bed and boasts a spectacularly magnificent view of the sparking Caribbean.

Super villa à proximité de Playa Del Carmen

Nous avons adorĂ© sĂ©journer Ă  Casa Miramar. Marcelo et Mercedes ont facilitĂ© notre arrivĂ©e et nous avons beaucoup aimĂ© qu’ils prennent en charge notre transport de l’aĂ©roport, et ce, Ă  prix compĂ©titif et dans le plus grand confort pour notre groupe.La villa est super belle, son emplacement Ă  quelques pas de la plage est super pratique et nous permettait d’aller et venir entre la plage et la piscine avec les enfants avec grande aisance.Lors de notre sĂ©jour, PlayaCar a subit une panne gĂ©nĂ©rale d’électricitĂ© due Ă  un bris de gĂ©nĂ©ratrice. Nous sommes restĂ©s sans courant et sans accĂšs Ă  l’eau pendant prĂšs de 15 heures. L'Ă©quipe de la villa ne nous a pas contactĂ© proactivement suite Ă  la panne et ne sont pas passĂ© nous voir. Nous avons du les contacter pour leur en informer. Ils ont rĂ©pondu Ă  nos questions et nous ont proposĂ© un hĂ©bergement alternatif si le problĂšme persistait (suite Ă  nos demandes) ce qui n'a pas Ă©tĂ© nĂ©cessaire. Nous savons trĂšs bien que ce problĂšme n'Ă©tait pas du tout de leur ressort mais nous aurions apprĂ©ciĂ© un peu plus de proactivitĂ© de leur part, ne serait-ce que pour nous offrir de l'eau pour le rĂ©servoir des toilettes ou pour nous proposer de pouvoir aller se doucher ailleurs. Heureusement, tout est rentrĂ© dans l'ordre.Autrement, super hĂ©bergement. Je recommande fortement!

Great Times, but Awful Smell with the Sargrasso

The stay would have easily been a 5 plus star rating except for the awful smell of the seaweed throughout the home and neighborhood. Unfortunately, it is Mother Nature and Playa experienced the worst "Sargrasso Season" in a long while.It left the beach unusable and the stench at times pretty unbareable. It was a ghost town. It had nothing to do with the home or property itself, just untimely. especially having booked for a 75th b day party 7 months in advance. Oh well, not the property manager or the home owners fault. The only other gripe I would have was that the pool was really merky and didnt look too clean when we arrived, which was also a huge bummer. They came immediately the following day and took care of it. Otherwise, the property and the grounds are AMAZING, we love the location and Playacar is or go-to spot when staying in Playa del Carmen.

This was our first experience in Playa del Carmen not at an all inclusive resort. The area was very safe and we were able to walk to 5th ave safely. The house accommodated 7 people with no problems. The house was very clean.

Great Stay

Clean, strong AC, strong water pressure, hot water never ran out, and space was open. one minute to beach and 10 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Secure. The wifi and phone signals are not great but that is not something they can control.

Nice little spot in PDC

Overall property was good! Beds were comfortable, location was right across from the beach, pool was great. We ran into some hiccups with the dryer on the property not working but they worked to resolve that and got it working in a day. The toaster oven and grill also didn’t work great, but we managed and ate something else once we discovered that. We didn’t know when cleaners would be coming so that was kinda a surprise when it happened, but it was fine. The towels onsite was a nice luxury. Paper products were stocked but kitchen wasn’t stocked with the essentials as listed and the pots/pans were in rough shape. Overall a very nice spot and stay.

First floor bath not working, wifi not working, dryer broke, wifi fixed and broke again, door jamb broken and locked my son in room, other issues. In short, had to call a very courteous and responsive maintenance staff far too much for price paid for unit. Otherwise it would have been a perfect vacation.

Waking up in paradise

This was a beautiful and spacious property. It was a very short walk to the white sandy beach. The second floor balcony outside the master bedroom was my favorite place. It was shady and windy and a great place to enjoy a glass of wine. I also loved that we could hear the waves from our bed. The neighborhood is close to lots of shops and restaurants, but it’s about half a mile until you get out of the neighborhood. The host helped us set up an amazing excursion. Security in the neighborhood was great and friendly. We felt very safe. I only wish the property had a few more supplies because we like to cook a lot and I felt like some basics were missing. I also wish the host had a welcome/recommendations book. There are so many restaurants and shops, it would be nice to know which ones are great and who delivers food to neighborhood. Uber eats did work.

The house and location were wonderful-the only surprise was the lack of basics for cooking. No salt, pepper, sugar or cooling oil. Beautiful views from deck and patio and quick easy access to the beach. Found some wonderful food in town and all of us loved our time there.

A Perfect Beachfront Getaway!

Our month-long stay at Casa Miramar was nothing short of amazing! This beautiful 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom villa exceeded our expectations in every way. The home is tastefully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, and it had all the amenities needed for a truly comfortable stay.The kitchen was fully stocked with everything necessary to prepare delicious meals, making dining in just as enjoyable as exploring local restaurants. The villa’s private pool was a wonderful place to relax, and being just a few steps from a stunning beach made it even better.One of our favorite spots was the rooftop terrace—comfortable sofas, plenty of shade, and a breathtaking view of the Gulf. Whether sipping morning coffee or watching the sunset, it was the perfect place to unwind.Casa Miramar truly offers the ideal vacation experience. We can’t wait to return!

Great stay!

Property is beautiful, maybe nicer than pictured. Location was perfect for us, a bit of a walk to 5th Av, but very do-able and we got our steps in all week. I think being a block off of the beach may be better than being right on the beach - which was very crowded when we were there. The only issue we had was the Wi-Fi, and maybe this is common in the area, but it was poor all week. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, but would not plan on working!

Playa Girls Trip

Loved our Girls Colorado reunion after 45 yrs of friendship! Relaxed and hit the beach daily with wind down music and cocktails by the pool! We cooked a lot which we love, dinner at our fav Romeo’s & Ilios & had plenty of comfy space to spread out at the house. Easy access to taxis walking or by pick up and extremely responsive & friendly property managers! Only downside was we needed newer kitchen knives , pans and toaster but easy things to correct next time! We’ll be back for sure! Highly recommend Casa Miramar!!

Beautiful Stay at Casa Miramar!

We really enjoyed our stay with my hubby, adult children and their friend and my 89 year old mother-in -law. The hosts were extremely receptive to the minor issues that we had and the villa is beautiful and spacious and right across the street from the beach. There is not much beach at that location so you do need to walk down a bit to the right for a better beach but it was very convenient. The villa is well appointed with a few minor exceptions but the hosts responded immediately and took care of everything we requested, including bringing us a TV for one of the bedrooms that did not have one. We would happily visit again.

Perfect villa

Wow, we had a great stay at this spacious villa. It is accurate that it is right across the small non-busy street to the beach. Check-in was smooth and the communication was the best out of any vacation rental property I have had, so quick with responses, super helpful with everything we asked for, and easy with WhatsApp. We had Chef Daveed come for a few nights during our stay and that was great to not have to worry about dinner. The house itself was super clean and the cleaners came every 3 days, beds were comfortable. Having a washer / dryer was great also and a full kitchen to cook with. The pool was nice but it got really hot during the mornings, we used it mostly in the later afternoon when there was shade. They provided beach chairs and an umbrella. We appreciated that it was a guarded complex with multiple nice houses so that made us feel very safe. We also walked into town multiple times and felt super safe. Note it is about a 10 minute walk to get out of the complex into town but you can also call a taxi directly with WhatsApp to come in front of the house. Overall we would definitely recommend and stay here again. Thank you for the hospitality Mercedes and Patricia!!

Excellent property just feet from the beach

The property is absolutely excellent. I've stayed at properties where the A/C works intermittently and there aren't many units. This wasn't the case at Miramar. There was one unit in the dining room, one in the living room, and one for each bedroom. They all worked flawlessly. The condition of the house was excellent, has a pool by the front entrance, and the beach was literally across the street. The property is located in a gated community that is actively patrolled by security, and felt very safe. There were restaurants nearby, a small mall, and the pier where you could catch a ferry to Cozumel. The only thing that was somewhat inconvenient was getting groceries. There weren't many places to shop for groceries without going a mile our or so. Catching a taxi was a must or you'd be walking a while with who knows how much in your hands. Taxis were plentiful, which made it easy, luckily. I would absolutely stay here again in the future. I stayed with family, and the house easily slept 8, with two of the rooms equipped with two beds, and the other two rooms having one larger bed. Four bathrooms meant no fighting for a shower or a toilet, and the house was well stocked with soap, shampoo, towels, toilet paper, and hand soap. There were also plenty of bath towels and beach towels. If all this host's properties are as well maintained and stocked as this, I would have no qualms about staying at any of them.

There were 8 adults in our group and we had plenty of space. Location was great and we felt safe. Pool was a little smaller than we expected but it worked out fine. A two minute walk to the ocean was easy to do.

Paradise!

We loved the house! The pool was a hit with the kids. The beach was very close & beautiful from the balcony. The beach did have a good amount of seaweed, some days worse than others. House cleaners were great. AC worked well in each room. The walk was the only downfall. A good 10-12 minutes just to exit the neighborhood which was tiring for the smaller children. Taxi's charged approx $32 UDS for 1 mile. All in all, we would definitely come back.

Perfect, relaxing getaway

What an amazing property! Spacious, comfortable, and with all the amenities we could have ever asked for. Very responsive property manager, easy check-in and check-out, and only steps away from the beach. Literally everything was perfect.

Amazing location, steps to the beach & close to 5th Ave

Wonderful, spacious home just steps from the beach. We enjoyed the beach view from the pool area and especially from the upper balcony. 5th Avenue is just a short walk (via the streets, not the beach) to many restaurants, shops & night life. The team at Casa Miramar made our stay a delight by stocking the house with groceries in advance, connecting us with Chef Daveed who prepared a few meals and hosted a cooking class for us, & connecting us with Alejandro who arranged excursions for us. It was a fantastic week with our family of 6. The house is as shown in the pictures, with the upgrade of a granite table & 8 chairs by the pool, but unfortunately the shade tarp on the upper balcony was no longer there. The upper balcony is accessible via a door separate from the upstairs bedroom which was a nice surprise. The house was well stocked...TP, paper towel, shampoo with conditioner, soap, coffee filters, laundry detergent, pool towels, coffee maker & blender, etc. Only ziploc bags or more containers were missing. Overall, Casa Miramar is a fantastic place to spend a vacation and we'd highly recommend it.

Expectations exceeded

Casa Miramar is amazing! Alejandro greeted us and was so helpful. The home was immaculate and full of sweet details. We'd absolutely stay again!
