Tasteful, brand new guest house, beautiful neighborhood on the river. Guests have private deck facing yard and separate outdoor sitting area on the Willamette river behind the main house (but not a river view from the unit). Watch the birds, boats and riverboat cruise from the patio with fire pit. 2 miles from lightrail station, restaurants and shopping nearby and 15 mins. to downtown Portland. Kayaks available during warmer months (lifejackets required). Next door to boat ramp, trailer and RV parking available. Friendly to families as well with toys available upon request. Cable TV and Netflix on the flat screen TV, video games available too. Two private bedrooms, each with a queen bed and closet. Big and comfortable fold-out couch and air mattress if needed. Full kitchen with espresso and coffee. All are welcome! East side of river near Milwaukie.

The ABSOLUTE BEST VRBO experience we've ever had! The house was clean and neat, exactly as pictured. The patio was idyllic! The stunning view was a vacation itself! Carol was the most attentive and responsive host we've ever interacted with and the personal and thoughtfil touches, including snacks, coffee, extra towels, and use of extras was above and beyond. Overall, we felt deeply cared for and enjoyed our stay tremendously. If we could give 10 stars, we would! We'll definitely be back.

We had such a wonderful experience staying at the guest house in Milwaukie. Carol was wonderful and very accommodating. The location was awesome and having the opportunity to watch fireworks next to the river was breathtaking. Thank you Carol!

Excellent Home Away from Home

Extremely accommodating with our crazy wedding weekend schedule - a quiet and relaxing home. Perfect size for four adults. Wonderful area if you love to walk. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet getaway while still being close to the city.

This fabulous guest house exceeded our expectations for condition and location! The property and the host both deserve 10 stars plus! Carol is excellent at communication, the guest house is perfectly appointed with all of the amenities you would need. We loved the cool breezes from the river during the heat wave! And enjoyed serene walks amongst the towering pines. So quiet and peaceful, yet close to the city. Definitely returning!

Immaculate condition and really new. All conveniences were very well provided. It is a guest house, not an entire house, to be noted. We missed that. Still have the privacy we need and not an issue for us. Would come back again.

This cute space was great for our siblings reunion/sleepover. The host was an excellent communicator and there were clear instructions and recommendations left inside for us. The coffee was very much appreciated! We could see ourselves coming back here.

Beautiful place

This home is a short walk from the Willamette River. It is very clean, comfortable and well stocked with extra bedding, coffee, creamer, spices and cooking equipment. I would love to return sometime.

Cute place. Far from Lake Oswego.

For some reason I thought the listing showed being very close to Lake Oswego. It is not!! If you aren’t familiar, you would not realize that there aren’t any bridges to get you to that area anywhere nearby. Signed us up for a 30 minute commute. The place is cute though and served our purposes otherwise.
