The exterior of the building is a standout amidst the cityâs uniform structures, featuring rusted metal siding, painted stucco panels, and black, burned Japanese Shou Sugi Ban wood. This distinctive look will catch the eye of anyone traveling along Hawthorne Boulevard. Nestled between the vibrant commercial hub of Hawthorne and the leafy side streets filled with residential architectural masterpieces from the past 120 years, the location offers the best of both worlds.
The interiors are designed to exude a sleek, soothing European feel, incorporating the highest-grade surfaces and finishes. Enjoy the comfort of mini-split heating and cooling, stainless steel appliances, 9-foot ceilings, and huge windows that flood the space with natural light. The cabinetry is stunning, complemented by glittering quartz countertops, creating a luxurious living environment.

The Neighborhood:
Commonly known as âFoodie Row,â the Hawthorne/Buckman District puts you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors, with no chain restaurants in sight! Make new friends over vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, get messy with wings right around the corner at Fire on the Mountain, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portlandâs favorite pizza), or opt for a fancy night out at Castagnaâall within a 1.5-mile stretch.
Portland isn't just for foodies; the vibrant indie spirit of Hawthorne is alive with plenty of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques to explore. Catch a movie at the Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. If bar hopping through neighborhoods isnât your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor, a 196-acre city park atop a dormant volcano vent, where youâll find miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city.
