Staff was all either amazing or worthless, I don't think there was anyone we interacted with that was in between. In general the cleaning staff, bartenders, and concierges were incredible and the wait staff was terrible, but there were exceptions to all of those. The pools were well maintained as well as the bars. The room water ranged from clear to "are you sure you flushed?". Regular (about every other day) power outages. Sunscreen was $37-50 US. I expect and am fine with some amount of price gouging for the convenience of not leaving the property, but that exceeds what I am willing to tolerate. We also had more than one incident of being charged the wrong amount or wrong conversion rate "accidentally". The shop staff didn't realize that we understood them talking and know it wasn't accidental. The entertainment was actually entertaining and the dancers/circus performers were amazing. Food ranged from good to inedible. In the same meal at the seafood restaurant I had wonderful octopus as an appetizer but then when I also has octopus as part of my entree it was so tough I didn't think I'd be able to chew it enough to swallow. The food in the buffet was typical buffet food, overcooked and not kept at proper temperatures. The Italian and Mexican restaurants we ate at were good, except for the steak at the Italian place. We didn't do the steak restaurant because the steak was so poorly cooked any time someone ordered one at another restaurant that we didn't want to chance it.
