Lovely staff, great grounds
I tend to review Motel 6 sites against other Motel 6's, and other budget motels. I mean, it is what its...Motel 6. LOL!
On a prior stay here, I'd decided not to return. My room was missing the smoke detector, phone, and TV. The door was broken and I kept getting locked out. But reviews were pretty good this time, and I was just staying 1 night.
So the grounds are lovely. I had a dog and there are plenty of spots for potty walks. I was there for a dog show at the Livestock Event Center...it's so convenient...just down the street.
Now this is Nevada, and it's a Motel 6, so there were some working girls and boys. They went about their business quietly and discreetly. But if you have kids, be aware of that.
The room was problematic. I know the place has been renovated, but it looked like my room had been flooded at some point. The flooring was completely coming loose. There were spots they'd tried repairing by screwing the planks down, but IMO, it's a trip hazard.
Beyond that, it was a good stay with lovely staff.
