This charming 3 bedroom home is located in the heart of Mission Beach, and the new owners just completed a COMPLETE RENOVATION. You will love the contemporary coastal vibe!

This beach getaway sleeps 10, and has all the amenities to make you feel right at home. Enjoy the private outdoor patio where you can relax in the sun and enjoy the ocean air with a good book. Or spend quality time with loved ones while grilling on the BBQ. There are boogie boards, beach chairs, sand toys and a cooler for your use, all of which come in handy when everyone is ready to head to the beach... a mere 100 feet and your toes hit the sand! But your adventures and entertainment aren’t limited to the beach. Take in local attractions like Belmont Park, Sea World, or the La Jolla Tide Pools. And when it comes to dining and shopping, the options are endless!

The condo has a 2 car tandem parking spot. Additional overnight parking includes street parking and near by public parking lots.

SHOPPING & DINING
Endless shops line the streets in Mission Beach. Part of the beach living charm is experiencing all the different vendors selling their unique and rare goods on the boardwalk. There are convenient stores for your basic needs and a major grocery store 1.5 miles north on Mission Blvd.

WATER ACTIVITIES
There are numerous places to rent surf boards, boogie boards, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, pedal boats, power boats, sailboats, and jet skis. Another fun activity within walking distance for the kids is to go to The Plunge. The Plunge has the best pool inflatable obstacle in San Diego!

LAND ACTIVITIES
The boardwalk spreads out all along the length of mission beach and is about 2 miles long. The boardwalk is known for its scenic views and a great place to go for a walk, run, ride bikes, scooters, skateboards, and rollerblading.

We were very surprised by our experience, especially after reading the many positive reviews prior to booking. The listing indicated that parking was available, but upon arrival we discovered that the only option was a very tight space beside the garage that did not accommodate our rental car. The garage was unusable and located off an alley, so we were unable to park anywhere close to the unit.The property also felt more exposed than expected, with frequent foot traffic behind and alongside the home. One of the side entry doors had no window covering, allowing anyone walking by to see directly inside, which made us uncomfortable.Inside, the couches were far from comfortable—so much so that they were unusable for sleeping, despite being listed as potential sleeping spaces.The most concerning issue, however, occurred after our first night: we woke to water leaking from the ceiling in one of the upstairs bedrooms. The ceiling was swollen and on the verge of bursting, and both the bed and floor were soaked. When we contacted the owner, the initial response did not reflect the urgency of the situation. We were offered either a discounted stay (while remaining in a leaking home) or the option to cancel early for a refund.Naturally, we chose to leave. Fortunately, we were able to find another rental nearby—no small feat on New Year’s Day.

The location was great and the place was clean. The garbage disposal stopped working during but the owner was in contact with us to get it fixed during our short stay. It’s a tight parking spot for a minivan with car top carrier. But overall we had a great stay. Mission beach is absolutely beautiful and we will be back for another stay.

The location was beautiful. Easy access to beach. Everyone we met was very nice. It was quiet for a young one year old to take naps. Boogie boards for the older kids and adults. Place was clean of course sand but we vacuumed to keep it to a minimum. We had everything we needed stores close by. Only negative is the parking but we learned backing in was easier and once you were able to get the hang of it no problem with two SUVs. Great memories with the family wish we could of stayed longer.

Perfect for families

We had a great stay the location is perfect and the place was spacious and clean. As others stated parking is rough but we walked most places so we didn’t have to move the car too much. If the place across the way parked in the garage instead of outside it would be easier. We loved the condo it has everything you need and the best patio the pups enjoyed it and there was some nice turf for them to lay on. We would definitely stay again.

Nice location needed several repairs

While the location of this property was fantastic, the home itself was in need of some TLC and repairs—many of which appeared to be known prior to our arrival. It was disappointing that these issues were not addressed before our stay.We initially reached out to the host, who was responsive at first, but she arranged for repair workers to come during our visit, which was inconvenient and disruptive. After that, communication from the host stopped, even though she had mentioned offering a discount. We ultimately had to contact Vrbo for support.Unfortunately, this experience didn’t meet our expectations. There are plenty of other well-maintained options in the area, and we would recommend considering those instead.
