Very motel style off of a busy road. Limited parking. Nothing nearby open if you are needing a snack. Breakfast is absolutely terrible. Even the gas station had glass walls everywhere. For breakfast They just provide frozen Dean’s sandwiches and two old microwaves. We left our ski / snowboard equipment in the car overnight and it didn’t get stolen however we were really questioning whether or not we should. Our tiredness and early morning had us take the risk. The staff is nice though and the location is decent for a quick overnight stay before we headed to Whistler.

The preauthorization on my credit card hasn't been released because the hotel merchant services isn't working. Also my silk bed sheet cover was taken off my suit case and I had to go through lots of trouble to get it back .

I tend to stay at this hotel when I travel to Vancouver. I find it older, but casual and comfortable, just like Home. The staff is very accommodating and pleasant, I will definitely book my next day here.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. Doesn’t look like anything was cleaned (or has ever been cleaned) Mold in the shower, hair everywhere, none of the walls or surfaces cleaned. Yellow all around toilet seat. Also have a disgusting, brown “pond” with 1 fish in it that obviously hasn’t been tended to in a long time. Would never stay again.

Had to kill a cockroach in the bathroom and our room picked up a lot of noise from the road. Stayed there only because we missed our ferry and it was the closest hotel to the terminal that had vacanies, otherwise I would never stay there again - especially for the price. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful and the room was in decent shape otherwise, though.

Econolodge was a nice surprise, the front desk staff were pleasant and especially helpful. It was perfectly located for a wedding we were attending up at Grouse Mountain. We requested an earlier check in so we could have time to dress for the wedding and they made it happen. The motel is a bit dated, however the room was clean and came equipped with comfortable beds, kitchenette, and filled with everything you would need for a pleasant, economical and convenient stay. I would definitely stay here again.
