The staff was terrific and I could tell upon arriving that this was a place with a long history of good service. I think Wyndham is doing this property a disservice by not investing in its upkeep. It’s a beautiful property, but we noticed a lot of areas that need attention. Our room had spots where the paint had worn off. The elevators were operable but looked like they could use some refurbishment and maintenance. I liked our visit but it would be nice if the corporate owners would invest in this beautiful property.

When we arrived we were met by valet which was great! When the valet saw we had our furry family member along we were told guests with pets use the employee entrance in the back of the building.WHAT?? When we checked in we were asked for $100 pet fee - didn't see that in the fine print. Expedia sells a pet friendly room and mentions nothing of a pet fee. That should at least be mentioned when booking...the hotel and Expedia should get it together on that one. I don't mind paying a pet fee BUT the carpet in our room had a large stain from a previous guest...pee stain maybe? The breakfast buffet was nice - we didn't receive coffee until we were nearly finished with our meal. From the road the venue is lovely - I booked this room expecting a luxury hotel. Compared to places I've stayed - this hotel was average.

The property is beautiful especially if you like to golf and is a great alternative to chain hotels and the resorts of AC. The only problem we had with it was that our room smelled very musty and felt a bit damp.

Seaview was a fantastic property. The golf course was fabulous, the pool very nice, the room spacious and very clean, but the best part was the staff. They were friendly, inviting, and fabulous!

The property is very nice. The location is perfect, the staff i encountered were amazing. The room was spacious and comfortable. The amenities offered makes the price so much worth it. My only complaint was that the ice machines on my floor were out of order.
