Stayed at The Beach House at Drifting Sands for 2 nights. The room was nice, beds and pillows were comfortable. The Kitchenette was also good although we didn’t have to use anything. However the drapes were awful. Panels were short and not enough leaving wide gaps allowing light to come through and having no privacy. Getting to the beach was easy and quick. Great location.

The room was clean and comfortable. The mini fridge, microwave and table with 2 chairs are good accommodations to have a casual meal or snack and avoid the need to eat out. The staff was friendly and helpful. I received an upgrade to my room on the day I checked in since it was off season and there were open rooms. Definitely recommend this place for a relaxing stay so close to the beach.

Great place to stay

This was a wonderful resort to stay in. Easy access to the beach and the room was great. The water pressure was surprisingly good which really helped get the sand and sunscreen off. There is so much in walking distance too which helped a ton.

The room was disgustingly dirty and had an awful odor. The room looked old and dingy. The sheets also had yellow stains on them. They finally changed my room the following afternoon and they couldn’t give me keys because the system was down. When we went into the second room it was better but smelled like mildew.

Only problem was the air conditioner is at bed level and not more than 2 feet from bed. So if it was turned off it made the other side of the room hot. If left on, closest bed was frozen
