The perfect Long Beach Island vacation

This classic oceanside beach house with central air conditioning is sure to exceed your expectations. Its a great house for a family vacation, a group stay, or a romantic get-away. Relax in this comfortable, clean and well maintained spacious home. It features 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, a well equipped recently renovated kitchen, a separate laundry room. Our bonus "lbi room offers a place to go when you need a break from the sun. It can be used as an overflow dining area. It's a comfortable area for teens and kids. Our guests have raved about its multi-functions. Email or call us and ask about it. Outdoors you'll enjoy washing-off from the beach in the outdoor shower. There is a full size refrigerator in the garage and a large gas grill in the patio, so when you're taking a break from the beach you can enjoy your favorite cold drink, and grill up some burgers and hotdogs.

Perfect location: the beach is only 1 block away. It's walking distance to several gift shops, boutiques, and cozy cafe style restaurant. Minutes to amusement parks, shops, entertainment. Less then 1 mile to various restaurants, ice cream shop, grocery store, and movie theater. Wifi high speed internet access is available to keep you connected with family, friends, and work (if you have to).

The house also has all the bells and whistles to satisfy your entertainment needs like 5 TVs with cable service, a DVD player, a VCR and even a small library of books. And when you think it can not get any better... Just walk out into the large private back yard. The nicely landscaped patio is a wonderful space to enjoy your meals outdoor. There is a second picnic area if you need additional seating space or a separate area for the kids. Looks small from the street but plenty of spacious rooms!Very clean! Dishes, utensils and etc like new.Furniture and bed comforters also clean and like new!Short walk to the beach and quiet street.Love the second floor balcony where you can see the bay and watch the sunset.All new windows that gave us a beach breeze in the large back room where we played games and ate!This is our second year and probably won’t be our last!

Nice family beach vacay house

Short walk to the beach- 1.5 blocks. The beach was never that crowded (we were there third week of July) and the lifeguard is right where you enter onto the beach from the road. The house was clean. Cesar was easy to get a hold of. The extra living room on the back of the house made the house feel much bigger and the kids loved hanging out in there.

Clean and convenient!

We stayed for 1 week in Augus... 2 adults and 4 teenagers. The location is pretty awesome - 2 minute walk to the beach, restaurant and coffee shop walkable as well. Grocery store super close. Quick bike ride to Fantasy Island/Water park area. Square footage of the house is deceiving... sounds small but there are so many separate spaces to use; this was really perfect since we had two sets of teenagers who wanted to hang out separately and it gave my husband and I some private space as well. Three full bathrooms plus outdoor shower was a plus. Sun room is great - gets warm but has a window A/C unit so it's quite usable. The mattress covers, comforters and bed pillows were like new... fresh and clean. Lots of TVs and was great to not have to purchase beach badges. We had an issue with the Wi-Fi and Cesar replied so quickly and had it resolved right away. What would make it a complete package would be not having to bring my own beach chairs, linens and bikes - other than that, there were just a few things that needed maintenance/TLC but honestly, they did not affect my being able to enjoy the trip (grill needed cleaning, broken window on detached garage, patio furniture a bit rusty). We did have to buy toilet paper, dish soap and hand soap soon after we arrived since the starter supplies were little to nothing. Overall, a great little beach house with awesome location - would rent again!!

Hidden gem

We really enjoyed our stay at this house! It’s much bigger inside than it looks from outside, having the extra back room was awesome and allowed us to spread out. It’s a short walk to the beach and very close to the grocery store. The house had most everything we needed, very clean and had a nice backyard area. Only complaint is the address in the online listing isn’t accurate. It shows a cross street closer to the beach than the house really is, but really the house is still only a short 5 minute walk.

Good Location With Some Issues

This house is in a great location but it has several issues. Biggest issue was we had a Severe ant problem in the kitchen and bedrooms. All our non refrigerated food needed to be thrown away after we returned from our first day on the beach because ants were swarming all over everything both on the counters and in the cabinets. The sheets we put down on the beds in the upstairs bedrooms needed to be washed that night to get ants off and we had ants crawling up walls and on furniture. There were ant traps all over the house, so I feel this must of been an issue with people before us. We contacted VRBO as well as the owner. We were told to spray raid but that was not enough. The Owner was responsive when he called back the next day and he did send in an exterminator the next morning. We did not keep any other food in the kitchen area. Upstairs deck has a weak spot that you can step through and was covered with a piece of plywood. We did inform owner of this as well. We stayed off the upper deck since it did not feel safe. The main floor area has been updated. The upstairs needs TLC. Backyard is a large space but All the furniture out back is severely rusted. We did use the grill outside but there were only three usable chairs and the center of the table was also rusted. Wooden fence on the side of the house has broken gates. Out door shower is OK but the dryer vents into the shower so don't dry clothes and have someone shower outside at the same time. Overall, this house made our vacation stressful.

I feel like this house was not as advertised. There were things that were broken and the house was not at nice as the pictures. I was highly disappointed! The owner was easy to contact. Hope he addresses all the issues.

Great Reverse Living Rental

House is less than 10 houses away from the beach. House gets the job done. Sleeps 8 please we had one on the pull out couch downstairs. Nothing fancy but a place to sleep and shower. House could use a little TLC. Best part was the large sunroom that we used for large dinners and family game night. Would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in renting in LBI.

We loved this house! It looks small from outside but very roomy inside. The backyard and sun room are great. Its located by everything. And the beach is down the street!

Great location on LBI

We had a great week with the excellent service by the owner. The central a/c quit the second day of our stay during the heat wave. The owner installed window units the same day which was partially able to cool the house as well as the getting the central a/c unit replaced 3 days later. As for the house, the location is great. Short walk to beach. Great diner nearby. I also encourage vacationers to take advantage of the Black Sheep Studio for great options for fitness - we really liked the beach boot camp class. The house had all the bare essentials for a beach house and was quite clean. It is a bit small especially the upstairs bathrooms and kitchen area. The reason for the 4 stars is that the entire house needs updating especially interior: the couches are quite worn and uncomfortable, property gates broken, window dressings dated, mostly outdated furniture, bedding outdated to name a few. The barbecue grill and ice maker were not working but in fairness to owner, we did not bother him as he had worked hard on getting the A/C fixed. This was our fourth rental on LBI. The interior decorations and furniture as well as exterior areas were below local standard. The price of the rental was reasonable.
