Pros: The location, and the free parking.
The location of the Jockey Club could not of been better. Parking was free, but there was a distance to the hotel. Since I have stayed here before, and I know what is like today. The furniture should of been changed out years ago, the carpet was coming loose at the seams, and the curtains were filthy. We had to call maintenance to come repair the dish washer, because the wheels were missing off the dish container. The rooms and baths were of good size, and the front desk was a 10. The rental side of the Jockey Club was not impressive, but the Timeshare was very impressive. For the money I paid, it was worth it, but that is it for me. I would not recommend the rental side, Timeshare side would be a different story.

Good location - better than a hotel

I was in the Derby tower. It appears that a renovation was done in the recent past. Floors, walls, bathrooms, and kitchens were in excellent condition. Furniture will probably be next as it is showing some wear. Much better value than a hotel with more room Just don’t expect a view due to the location between other towers. Centre of the Strip

Good Location, Bad Reservations

Pros: The rooms were clean and had a nice view of the strip. The location was great because it was very close to everything downtown.
Cons: Information provided online needs to be updated.
Location: Directly next to the Cosmopolitan <1 min walk. Across from the Bellagio <2 minute walk. Near Caesars <10 min walk.
They did not give us the suite/room we paid for. We arrived to the hotel only to find that the suite we had booked a month or two in advanced was not available. With no explanation why. So they gave us two separate queen rooms instead. For 8 people! Two queen beds for 8 people! They only reason we had selected this hotel in the first place was so that we could all be in the same room for a bachelorette party. We were supposed to have a 2 bedroom suite with 3 queen beds, 2 bathrooms, a living room with pull out double couch and a kitchen. The bride was so disappointed she had to split up her party and friends. I was mostly upset because we didn't have enough beds and had to sleep on uncomfortable pull out couches while having paid for a suite. If I was going to sleep in separate rooms on a pull out couch I would have stayed at a MUCH cheaper hotel. But it gets even worse. We booked the trip through Travelocity which said there was a shuttle from the airport to the hotel for a small reasonable fee. So the day of travel, I called the hotel to confirm the time I needed picked up and was not able to get through to the front desk. I kept getting a voicemail. I left a voicemail but never heard back. When I landed I called again and got a live person but they told me the never provided that service. I had to get a random bus shuttle last minute that had over a dozen stops before me and it took 1hr 45min to get to the hotel.

Center Strip

Pros: The location and the one bedroom option.
Cons: Some updating.
Location: It's right in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip, so there are many options in the area.
This was the second stay at the Jockey Club, and we have no real negatives about the experience. Location is great for the price and hotel staff very helpful. The valet service is only $5.00 per day and well worth it as otherwise you have to look for the right area in which to park in the Cosmopolitan parking structure. The last time we stayed we overlooked the Bellagio fountains, but this time our view was of a wall. The view rooms are really nice, but there is definitely more noise, whereas this time all was very quiet. The negative is having to exit by car right on Las Vegas Blvd., and sometimes it can take you a very long time just to go a few blocks. I recommend you time you exit and entrance to the parking area as the main Boulevard is the only option. We most likely will stay here again.

Great Location

Great location on the strip. Friendly staff and smooth check in. It is an older timeshare, but it was perfect for us. Had a full kitchen which we enjoyed. Nice and quiet, allowing for good sleep.

Just when you think you know it all...

Pros: The Luxury, The Casino, and its location. BULLS EYE (-).
Cons: It would be nice to check in a little earlier, like 1:00pm when I got there.
Location: Of Course the Casino {gamble}, the water show, walking distance from the water show. That's like center of attraction area.
I would like to rate this hotel stay as great. The only bad news about it is checking in so late, and then having to wait another hour after that. I JUST DROVE into VEGAS from another state I want to lay down immediately. Other than that I simply couldn't believe my eyes. It was like the Land Before Time, the parking garages wow what a masterpiece. I never knew Vegas had parking garages, massive parking garages right underneath The Strip. I wonder who else was in the dark about the garages. The room how great, the bed, nice mattresses. I also really enjoyed the maze I was going through to get to the strip from the hotel. During this stay I admit IT WAS THE BEST! I will have to use Travelocity again for an even better experience in Vegas. >>>>>>Maybe I'll win a JACKPOT this time. If this is what you can do for under $100.00, I wonder what you could do for a higher price.

Amazing Accomodations!!

Location on central strip, but access and parking very inconvenient. Valet parking $5 per day. Room incredibly spacious and comfortable. Kitchens have everything. DVD's in room, with movies and games for check-out from onsite hospitality services. Internet very unreliable. Would be an issue if relying on it for work. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool area very nice, and open 24 hours. Easy access to the Cosmopolitan. No room fees. This was an awesome location, and I would most definitely stay again!!
