Wonderful Stay!

We stayed for 3 nights to attend some festivals. The hotel's location is great for walking around downtown and old port. Check in is at 4:00, however, there was only one staff on, so it was a little slow. The check in staff were great, though. The hotel and our room were very clean. The room was spacious and is was nice having the full sized fridge and microwave. Upon our check, we were given coupons for breakfast for each morning, as well as 2 drinks per person per night during Happy Hour! The breakfast was excellent, as was the bar. The staff at both were very friendly and efficient. We would definitely stay again.

Location is good. Breakfast was terrible - nothing much there to begin with; finished items not re-filled; need to wait ages for omlette station; no cutlery, dirty cutlery; just choatic with an unmanageable crowd. We only ate there on our first day (despite breakfast being included); spent lots of money having breakfast in nearby hotels*/cafes on other days. We will be seeking compensation from this so-called 4-star hotel. *breakfast at neighbouring hotels such as Intercon, Westin etc. was so peaceful. A/C super noisy; cannot sleep. Sofa-bed gives you backaches. Old mattresses on all beds. Rooms not clean. Some staff were apologetic - they're aware of the issues and tried to fix. I would not recommend anyone goes there at least until the constructions are done. Extremely disappointed as a family of four who were looking forward to a lovely and relaxed stay.

The location was great—very close to Old Montreal and walkable to many attractions. However, our overall experience was disappointing. We stayed three nights in three rooms. One room had a broken lamp and a window that wouldn’t close. When reported, the hotel simply added it to a long list of needed repairs. The facilities were dated and poorly maintained. More concerning, medication went missing from one of our rooms. Despite reporting it twice and requesting to speak with housekeeping, no action was taken. A manager only spoke with us when we mentioned escalating the issue during checkout. We proceeded to report it to Hilton head office due to the lack of concern from hotel staff. Sadly, while the location is excellent, we will not stay at this property again.

The location of the hotel was great. Very close to the old town/waterfront area. Our room was ok. The air conditioning was not working our first night so it was an awful night but the staff took care of it the next morning. The most offensive part of the stay was the scent Hilton pumps into their lobby. Disgusting!!

Excellent location. Clean hotel. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Staff friendly and provided good service. The free breakfast and drinks during happy hour were welcome offerings. The food was tasty. Two things led to a four star rather than 5 star. The furniture in our room, especially the pull out couch where our child slept, has seen better days. And the 4:00 check-in. An option, even a paid option for an earlier check-in, makes traveling a lot easier when timing flights.

Location was ideal. Walking distance to Old port and Chinatown. Made to order breakfast was good. They gave voucher cards for happy hour at the bar from 5pm-7pm. Only reason for the 4 star instead of 5 star is the room. Pretty outdated and needs some maintenance. Beds were uncomfortable and worn out. Big bathroom but the stand in shower was small and was lacking water pressure. Windows are paper thin. At night I could even hear people conversing down on the street and every car that drives down the street. The air conditioning is loud in the room too. Staff were friendly though.
