Room was nice. Bed was good. View was fabulous. Hot tub is spacious. Building has 19 floors, so if you have fear of heights, request a lower room.

Left another hotel that was awful and came to this one, what a breath of fresh air. Clean room, amazing pool, right on the beach. The bar was overpriced but that’s what you get in a hotel. Will rebook to come back next year.

Overall the resort was good, good amenities. The problem was that the air conditioning unit went out in our room and it got hot in there, which made it hard to sleep. Maintenance was called but the problem was not resolved and we were not offered a solution to the problem.

We had a great view, the check in process was super easy, and the staff that checked us in and bartender were awesome. My only con was even after we asked, our room wasnt cleaned, and the cleaning staff were stand offish.

The hitel was clean and employees fruendly. My bed was very comfortable. I loved the pool and hot pool. The hotel is right on the beach and access was easy. The free breakfast had plenty of choices and tasted great. Attractions are easy to get to and there was coupons! I loved having coffee on the balcony. I definitely recommend this hotel and will come back again.

The room was excellent, very comfortable we had a beautiful view. But i have to say the staff made this trip. The front deak staff very helpful also made great restaurants recommendations. The bartender and shuttle driver also very helpful.

Lots of pros & cons here

Pros: Free breakfast was awesome with a lot of hot & cold options, pool & hot tub were clean & very well-kept, property has direct beach access. Hotel was very quiet. The only reason I knew anyone else was on our floor was because I saw them in the hall. We all slept very well. Cons: The lady who checked us in was extremely unfriendly (not a great first impression). There are only 2 elevators which staff also uses along with their carts of towels, etc so we found ourselves waiting a lot. Big picture-wise our room seemed clean but when we looked closer, not so much: dead bugs in our dining room light, something green growing on the fire sprinklers, old party streamers on the floor by our dresser, something red spilled under our fridge drawers from a previous guest not cleaned up. Also, we were hit with a musty smell & our carpet was damp when we first entered the room. I didn’t request a new room because other reviews say the same so I wasn’t confident a new room would be different. Overall our stay was fine but I’ll probably stay somewhere else next time.

Your paying for services not received when I share with manager it doesn’t get resolved they ignore you. No wash clothes for days. No housekeeping services although requested. No toilet paper. Pool small overcrowded with kids diving n jumping without parents. Property has gone down hill. The carpets are dirty. Managers don’t care.stay elsewhere the beach is the same on the strip .

The Strand was a great place to spend our time at Myrtle Beach. All you could ask for. Breakfast was above average and surprisingly good! Desk staff during the day were great but avoid the evening. He was rude and seemed very unhappy to be there.

Everyone was friendly, good service. Room was what we needed. View was absolutely gorgeous and the beach was right there! Amenities were good. I gave only 4 stars because housekeeping wasn’t the best we’ve had, they took my daughters baby blanket and stuffy and sent to laundry which we went on a wild goose chase for—thankfully we got it back on our own accord due to our research on where to find it. Breakfast was mediocre. The eggs tasted weird. We would probably stay here again and recommend to others despite that.
