The room we stayed at was fantastic (2 ppl/1 king). We had a beautiful city view on 5th Ave and found the place to be very spacious for the location we were at in NYC. Ceilings were high and bathrooms were great! Overall 10/10 experience.

Disappointing repeat visit

Used to be my go-to restaurant...would welcome with a glass of wine, people to open the doors, cute boutique like atmosphere. This time it seemed hard to get someone to help, valet was horrible from drop off attitude to departure. I asked for bedding for the couch for our 3rd person. No sheets were brought up, the blanket was dirty, and there were stains on the couch. Not the hotel I remembered. Final, though more of an annoyance, I picked Hyatt because I'm a platinum member and I was told I wouldn't get credit since I reserved through travelocity. Wow. Room cost was less which is the reason I reserved through them, but with this, why pick Hyatt at all? You'd think they'd still want my money.

What a great hotel!

Pros: everything
Cons: n/a
Location: right on 5th ave, walking distance to Time's Square
I pulled up, staff came out, valeted my car and handed me a complimentary glass of wine. The room was amazing down to every last detail. The staff were wonderful, the hotel is very modern and cool. Great location. I will absolutely go back and I have been telling all my friends.

This hotel is first class all the way. I felt like a star!!!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, free drinks & treats in the mini bar
I would recommend this to any 5 star hotel guest. (I'm high maintenance and loved my stay). The Andaz is ideally located in a safe location, within walking distance (4 blocks or so) to everything, very classy check-in area, beautiful high tech rooms, a bath to die for, (free goodies in the mini bar), and the most helpful, personnel staff I have ever encountered. I took my granddaughter for her 10th birthday & they even had birthday treats in the well appointed room. The downstairs lounge with free wine & internet was a welcomed relief after shopping. Our room overlooked 5th Ave. & was very quiet. I'll stay there every time I go.

Met and exceeded all expectations. Great experience.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
The staff at the Andaz Fifth Avenue were extremely helpful and welcoming. Travelled to New York on our Honeymoon and we were upgraded to a suite upon arrival at no extra charge. Excellent location. Positive experience from beginning to end.
