Located in an area of other hotels and strip malls outside of Poughkeepsie proper. We came to see Vassar, but there are no hotels near the college. This is out of the way but clean and up to date.

Was able to enjoy a peaceful staycation. Room was very clean. Only downside was the ice machine being out of order on my floor.

Nice, clean with some annoyances
Room looked clean and very elegant. Had every accommodation we could ask for. However, there were some things that drove the rating stars down. The sink is separated from the toilet/shower. So you need to open a door before being able to wash your hands. The shower doors would open while showering with the slightest touch to them. Which means water all over the floor. The toilet ran for literally 1 and a half minutes after a flush. But the main reason of the stars dropping is that housekeeping. We stayed one night (keep in mind check out I'd at 11qm). We awoke to housekeeping trying to enter our room at 8:30am. If you have guests staying a single night, and checkout is at 11, no one should be entering my room while I am still there. Thankfully, I put the door block up so the door wouldn't open all the way. Very disappointed with this happening. Shouldn't need to put up the "Do not disturb" sign if staying one night.
