Very quaint hotel with both pros and cons; pros...near the beach, very quiet rooftop pool/patio, shops and food very close. cons....mostly interior rooms with no views; older building with old infrastructure (pipes, windows, etc); staff was very pleasant and helpful; security at door during the evening; good location to downtown and beach

Nice and quaint, I liked it, very close to the beach. Not a room to hang out in all day but there's the beach and town so why would you

Lovely Mexican hotel

Cons: Toilet, at least in our room, should be updated (very low seating). A little more storage with drawers, and another chair.
Located a half-block from the melacon along the beach with great little restaurants and shops along the way, this hotel is quite charming. There are two swimming pools and a rooftop Continental breakfast with lovely fresh fruit in abundance. The staff was helpful and friendly. English-language bookstore/borrowing/exchange library is a few steps away where you can lounge and/or eat.

As Bette Davis said, "What a Dump!"

Pros: not one thing, except we checked out after one night and found a better hotel
Cons: everything should be improved
Location: PV is beautiful but this place is a disaster
Don't waste your time at this dump. Total pit and just a dirty hotel

Flavor of Mexico

Pros: Although the hotel was 100% occupied, the staff still recognized my family and treated us with personal attention.
Cons: HA! The only improvement request is stronger coffee.
Location: half a block from Los Muertos beach, swimming, eating fish on a stick, parachute, boardwalk 5 min. away.
Hotel Eloisa was an excellent choice for us as we do not enjoy the high dollar, all inclusive, 4-5 star resort type of vacations as they do not exhibit the flavor of the culture of Mexico. Hotel Eloisa allowed us the comfort of a clean room, continental breakfast, superb staff, half a block from beach all while being incredibly economical. This hotel was perfect for our family.

Close to the beach, basic room

Pros: Low rates, one block from beach, thus very convenient. Nice rooftop area that is quiet and a place you can go to be undisturbed by vendors.
Cons: Get rid of the old analog TVs and put a little padding on the box-like mattresses.
Location: Great restaurants within 5-10 minute walk. Don't even think about renting a car or trying to park one....just not needed.
This is a basic hotel next to a nice park and only one block from the beach. It is a very convenient location to many, many restaurants and the malecon boardwalk. It has a roof-top pool and a ground-level pool, neither heated. The rooms are sparse with only one or two outlets for your cell or other charger(s). The bed is typical for this type of basic Mexico hotel, being quite firm, almost hard. Towels were a little worn out. The first night we were just above the bar and that was a mistake. We moved to the 4th floor the next morning, where it was much quieter. The rooftop floor is open with nice views, a breeze, chairs, loungers and some shade. The air conditioning works well in the rooms we were in. I would recommend this to a friend, but would be sure to tell that friend that it is a very basic room, beds are hard, and so on.

Ideal location. Value for the price.

Pros: Loved the suite with the balcony facing the town center square and mountainside. Casablanca fans in each room.
Cons: The view from the roof is awesome. There were lots of chairs but no umbrellas for shade. Couldn't make ice In the freezer. Had to buy ice every 2 days
Location: Lots of dining options. Taxis readily available. Half a block from bus stop. Walk along the beach or the Malecon. Lots of shopping options.
Friendly and efficient check in. Very clean. Easy access to beach, restaurants, just about everything.

Next to beach

Right by beach loved that. My only complaint was no TV unless you upgrade and pay more. Real nice light breakfast on roof. Beautiful view on top. Will stay again
