The check in was bad. We did not get 2 doubles beds the first night, the the next day l, they wanted to leave us in the same room for another night. I had to explain in details so I could get priority in getting another room. Issue was fixed, entertainment staff were perfect and dining was amazing. Everyone was great except the front desk.

Room was nice. Bed was hard and shower was hard to control temp. Beach was crowded and hard to get any service and was bombarded by people selling everything. Food was awesome at the restaurants was good at buffet. Hard to get reservations at the restaurants before 9pm. Staff was awesome and very friendly.

Although we enjoyed our self’s, it was very inconvenient to be so far from the beach and having to wait a very long time for trolleys to pass by. Also we noticed a few sand fleas bites on my husband’s body. After a google search, it was confirmed that our hotel has sand fleas.

The rooms are dated but ok for the value. But the facility it self was wonderful!! The dining options were amazing! The staff was amazing !!! The entertainment was wonderful!! Gabriel and Isaac ( probably not the right spelling) were amazing and funny! We would definitely go back !

Room kept clean, on ground floor. A little musty odor. Slippery surfaces everywhere depending on shoes so keep this in mind. Would be nice if the lobby bars had coffee earlier than 7am, and had water available in the dispensers in the lobbies all hours. Hard working staff everywhere, most are friendly and try their best. RELAX! ISLAND TIME! Massages were expensive but the spa is nice. Bring bug spray, and lots of sunscreen because both are expensive on resort. Lots of vendors on the beach hounding you hourly to buy something from them. Firm no on the privilege club meeting if you don't want to be stuck in there for 3+ hours. Overall food 3.75 out of 5, and drinks 4.5 out of 5. If you go without here, its your own fault! Ice cream machine as La Isla**, lunch snacks at beach bar **TACOS were fantastic**. Resort was not full, but many people fighting over shade spots at the beach during the afternoon hours. Make sure you leave something to keep your spot, or they will remove your pool towels and sit there if you don't leave something personal. Beautiful sunrises 6:30 am with rainbows (and moon view) , and awesome night skies and stars! Overall, nice resort for the cost.

The only real issue I had with this property was that some, not all but some of the staff had a blatantly grumpy attitude, particularly some of the bartenders, which is ridiculous since there the ones working for tips. I also noticed that these staff with attitude would make comments in spanish if they knew you didn’t speak it as well.

Pros beach is beautiful grounds are beautiful overall cleanliness was good Cons Buffet food was always under stocked and food was cold 25% of the staff were wonderful 75% were not All four Bahia resorts are together but we were kicked out of the buffet at the ambar resort also need to take golf cart taxis due to resort being spread out My husband and I got a couples massage and the gal that massaged me was falling asleep during it Not a terrible resort but we won’t be back

3 out of our party of 4 got sick with the GI bug 2 days after being on property. We went to the gift shop to buy anti diarrhea medication and it was like taking a loan out. The questions and paperwork required and then a signature were crazy. And judging by the two pages of names for this medication, told us this resort has an issue. The resort is massive and kind of misleading with being an adult only, as 2 of the resorts on property were family oriented. Which is fine as we have kids. But when you book a trip with the advertising of adult only, it’s very misleading. They have golf cart trams to take you throughout the property due to the size. We were on the aquamarine side and we were not allowed to use the amenities on fantasia side or the amenities at the Ambar. We really only wanted to see fantasia as we were out walking and were told no and we were also told no for coffee at the coffee shop at Ambar. We then tried to use the beach, again, being on the “adult” side the beach was segregated by what section of the resort you were at to utilize the chairs. Very dumb system. Be prepared to be hounded by vendors every few minutes. The resort should not allow them near the sitting area. It was ridiculous. We ended up leaving the beach. The pool side food, is gross with very limited options The restaurants for the property was meh. We stay at all inclusives multiple times a year, and this one ranked at the bottom. We were not impressed. We will not be back
