The rooms are a little dated. While the area is central and allows for easy access to places of interest, I was bummed out that the smart TV did not have the internet options - YouTube & Netflix.

Underground, secured parking. Great downtown location, close to airport. Very clean. Our room was nice and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Only negative was the noise from nightlife, throughout the night I was woken several times by the people outside (we were up a few floors) being quite loud. Complimentary hot and cold breakfast options were available. Would definitely stay here again.

Spacious rooms, free breakfast buffet with late enough closing time, free dark roast coffee in lobby, a handy market, and convenient self-park garage all add up to a new fave hotel. It’s also easy for Ubers to access, thanks to a driveway and circle, and it’s across from Allan Gardens conservatory, and near a Harveys, a Tims, and a diner

Though our room size is big (it is an accessible room), we found out that our room door does not automatically lock from the outside when leaving the room. Luckily, my husband has the habit of checking by pulling on the door handle. We have to pull and yank the door really hard a few times. It was annoying and disturbing to the other guest rooms but that was the best we can do to assure that our room is lock when we leave the hotel. When I reported to the staff at the front desk, they literally told me the same as what we were doing but promise to look into fixing it, giving excuse that their maintenance person is new and busy. Also, they charge $50.85 dollars per night parking fee (i guess because it downtown area). The problem I have though is they did not inform me during checked in time, I only noticed when I checked my credit card activity, and when I questioned them about it, they promised to waive the 1st night parking fee (because the staff did not inform me about it) but still charged me in the end anyways. I think that charging customer for over $50 per night parking is too much and should be noted on their website so customers are well informed.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I would have spent another 2 days but I didn't book in time. It is close - one block away from the 506 streetcar and if you walk a bit further up you can get on the 94 bus that can take you 2 stops to the Wellesley Train station, or you can walk it to the station easily. Close to everything...Eaton Center etc They also have a 24hr tea / coffee station and breakfast had lots of options -eggs, bacon / sausage, pastries, waffles to make and potaoes, cereal, oats, bananas, apples, juice etc It is only one thing that I didn't like- someone brought their dog into the area with the food. I don't think that should be allowed. Also from in the corridor you can hear other guests speaking but that was not an issue for me. I would stay here in a heartbeat again. Stay at Hampton, you'll enjoy it!! I did.

Hampton Inn was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was a perfect way to start the morning. Hotel is very conveniently located. Nearby are so many tasty restaurants from ramen to Thai food to burgers and shawarmas. And a very large supermarket Loblaws nearby. Downside- After reception desk, you have to walk down small flight of stairs to get to elevator. Warning if mobility impaired. Housekeeping was flawless. Every two days, everything was cleaned spotless. Across the street is a botanical park. Area to left of hotel (Parkside Residence) can be a bit shady but generally area was good and safe. Lots of university students. Highly recommend this hotel.
