The location is fantastic, right across from Union Station, and the staff were excellent throughout our stay. We also had a great time at the bars and restaurants in the hotel, which I’d definitely recommend for drinks. Unfortunately, the rooms were very dated and not well maintained, and the bathroom felt more like a roadside motel than a luxury hotel, with noticeable grime and wear. For the price, I’d suggest staying elsewhere and then stopping by the Fairmont for a drink or a meal instead.

A proper old-school hotel; stunning interior design, brilliant staff and good facilities. Restaurants and food options superb, the service impeccable. The room was comfortable, with everything you need. My only gripe is that more electrical outlets would be useful, maybe with USB sockets. Overall a great experience, and a good location.

Outstanding and historic property which has been maitained beautifully in the tradition of all Fairmont Hotels. The staff were very helpful in all areas of the hotel. The rooms was very well appointment, on the small size, but comfortable as our oasis in the city. We were able to walk from the train across the street and only a short walk to shops, services and dinning. We also enjoyed the skywalk to Rogers Center for a Jays game. It's unfortunate the amount of street people just around the corner. I realize this is a problem for many big cities and maybe not appropriate for a hotel review, however it should be said that the "bigger problem" needs to be address as things are getting worst.

Location is amazing, beds comfortable but creaky

Comfortable place, rooms are small and lighting is a bit dim. We had a room tbat was facing north and small window so was quite dark. Bed creaked alot. Location is absolutely fantastic for a hotel, right in the heart of downtown everything is extremely accessible. Service was great but sometimes felt forced. I come from country with no tips and felt staff were really trying to be nice for tip. Not a fan of tipping culture but this isnt the plave to discuss Parking is available for a fee, byt you dont need to do valet parking for the (very pricey) fee. You can park yourself in the connected parking on wellington for half the price Either way overall good stay. Thanks Fairmont and staff
