We were guests in room 317 on October 18th. When we arrived, in room smoke monitor was beeping every 15 seconds. Maintenance reset the faulty monitor instead of replacing it. Needless to say, it started beeping every 15 seconds at 3:30 am. and we did not get much sleep. Two calls to the general manager Daniel have not been returned. A refund would have been appreciated.

It was very dingy and the bed squeaked. There was a discarded granola bar wrapper on the window sill, no stoppers for the tub or sink, and a clot of hair in the shower drain. Front staff very pleasant though, I must admit.

I was assigned a room that was in wholly unacceptable condition. The ceiling was damaged and peeling, the floors and bathtub were visibly dirty, and one of the towels was stained with toothpaste. I am concerned there were additional hygiene issues not immediately apparent. I was informed that the hotel was fully booked and that no alternative room could be provided. As I was in the city for a conference, I had no option but to stay the night. Given the unsanitary and neglected state of the room, I find the experience entirely unacceptable and inconsistent with the standards advertised.
