Getting Stuck in Elevator was just the beginning

Pros: Location
Cons: Customer service, cleanliness in bathrooms, quicker response times by technical support for elevators.
Location: Bierbistro was amazing, close to shops and lots of eateries, located close to Yonge street which was a main stretch through the city.
Initial room was amazing - walk in double door shower, bench at the end of the bed for clothes/sitting. We got stuck in the elevator for 30 minutes - and the hotel's only offer was a free bottle of wine & bowl with fresh fruit. We asked to move to a lower floor as to take stairs rather than elevators, which was met. However: 1) it took them 3 trips back down to the desk to get us working keys, and 2) the new room was 1/2 the size, had mold in the tub/shower combo, and 1 non-working lamp. You couldn't even open the door to the bathroom all the way because it hit the toilet. It felt like more of an irritation that we asked to move rooms to avoid taking the elevator again. In addition, we arrived at midnight and had to ask for a valet to come out, and the reaction was not welcoming at all to vale that late. Working in the customer service industry myself, I cannot believe how poor the customer service was in so many roles within the hotel. We weren't allowed to check-out earlier either - because we didn't book direct with the hotel. We will not be staying with Omni hotels in the future due to such terrible customer service.

Beautiful Clean Hotel in Great Location

Omni King Edward Hotel is very beautiful. The room is very clean and comfortable. Our room is large and also has a living room. The hotel staff are very professional. The hotel is in a nice street and is convenient. We loved our stay. It worth every penny.

What a wonderful staff!

Pros: The hotel was beautiful and the room was clean. It was old world elegant but never seemed stuffy!
I never write reviews, but I was so impressed by the staff at the King Edward I wanted to share this with others looking for a place to stay. The concierge was friendly and so helpful and Jake at the front desk helped us with our phone and did it with a smile. The gentleman at the door were friendly and helpful. We were always a little lost and everyone helped us find our way and I never felt that they were put out by our request. I stayed at 5 hotels during our trip and this was by far my favorite!

Great Hotel in Toronto!

Pros: Overall classy place. Staff and concierge - fantastic.
Cons: Minor --but free coffee downstairs until 8:30 AM?
Location: Financial district, just so convenient and in the middle of so many places.
What a great place to stay! Seriously! The room, staff, location -- fantastic. Our first trip to Toronto, so the hotel pick was a crap shoot - did we ever win. The bathroom alone was the price of the stay! If you can't decide about the downtown hotels, pick this one. LOCATION to the Market, Distillery District, AGO, CN tower, etc....perfect!

Takeover by omni hotels

I bought this 2 months prior and hotel taken over by omni hotels,  they could not find reservation, took over 20 minutes to book into hotel,  upgraded room, with one room next to an joint room with a wedding party who were noisy due to celebration,  free Internet became a charge and valet parking doubled in price.  Room was nice but furniture in need of replacement

Beautiful hotel

We were given a corner room that had a bit more space.  Hotel is located in great downtown location.  We walked to Sony Center, St. Lawrence Market, the University, The Music Garden, the Eaton Center and Kensington Market.  Must have the afternoon tea and make a reservation ahead of time. Very crowded for tea on Sunday.
