This place was awful in every way possible.

Cons: No free Internet, hard beds and linen, no ironing board, single beds
I feel like I was tricked. This place is clearly a low income rental that put up an ad to attrach out of town visitors who needed a place last minute. The room was dirty, 2 single hard beds, one pillow, cheap bedding, no ironing board, hand towels not bath towels, cheap toilet paper and soap, etc... Believe it or not you had to get a key to the laundry room where the ironing board was hard wired into the wall. The ironing board was actually sheets placed over shelves on the wall and after all that it didn't even work.

I wouldn't recommend Studio 6 Toronto

Pros: The only thing I liked about this hotel was that it was better than sleeping on the street!
Cons: The room didn't seem like it was cleaned properly between guests. (Dirty dishes, hair on floor etc.) The stairwell smelled of urine and filth.
Location: The location of this hotel was advertised as being downtown Toronto. It wasn't at all. It was in a very sketchy and unsafe feeling neighbourhood.
When I arrived to the hotel after a long morning of travel to the city I was rudely greeted by the receptionist. I told her my name and that i was there to check in. She informed me that I had two rooms booked. I explained that Originally I had two rooms booked but had cancelled one. I even had the confirmation of cancelation email with me to show her. She refused to even look at it. After some confusing back and forth, and several lies about the situation from her. I finally told her that I had booked a room with a queen sized bed. I again attempted to hand her a print out of my reservation which she refused to look at. She told me the price I was being charged. I then told her that wasn't what the website told me the price would be and again handed her the reservation confirmation which showed the room would be $190.00. She charged me well over $200 and blamed Travelocity for the mistake. Then bad mouthed them and told me to use because its better. In the end I was over charged for the room I actually got, as I know she charged me for a different room with two beds. When I got to the room. It didn't seemed like it had been cleaned very well between guest. There was hair on the floor. Crumbs or something in the bedsheets, and opened bar of soap by the sink. The stairwell to get down to the main floor smelled like mold and urine. The website advertises many things that you just don't receive when you check in.

they were very accommodating and friendly.

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: No free Internet
It is a good hotel if you need to sleep somewhere and only 5 dollars to park. Not a nice place for a weekend away or something special.
