Not a 3.5 Stat hotel

Pros: Free Internet
Very disappointed with this hotel. This is 2 star hotel. Very noisy heater, No heating in the bathroom. Parking available across the street in a separate building on the 5th floor. Very uncomfortable bed and this was in the queen deluxe room. Would never book at this hotel again.

Great location - close to clothing stores, food stalls, grocery stores, restaurants, bars, and attractions. Taking the train to the airport was very easy to navigate. The hotel itself has the charm of a boutique hotel. The rooms are on the smaller side as compared to larger rooms that fit 2 beds, but I was aware of this while booking and that was fine with me. The room was perfect. I liked the decor - it made the hotel unique. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

great location, clean rooms and friendly staff. The rooms are TINY so our family of 4 was so cramped and on top of one and other. There wasn't any room to lounge so we spent as little time in the room as possible. We did have a mini fridge that was ice cold so that was all a plus. I'm pretty sure the beds are made of concrete and the sheets are clean but make an annoying sound every time you flop and move. As if your sleeping in a plastic sleeping bag. another plus is theres a starbucks a few doors down and a short walk to yaletown where they have lots of restaurants. We used the parking garage for 1 night, its across the street and on the 5th level. It was gated so seemed super safe (the parking garage has a gate that closes in the middle of the night and you need a barcode key (from the front desk) to access the elevator from the street and your room key gets you in the parking gate, but 14CAD a night is redicilous for a parking fee. Seeing the hotel is right on the street its super noisy, but theres not really anyway to get away from that. Overall its a decent hotel for the price for a few nights (we stayed 7 nights and that was way to long for our family in the cramped hotel, i wish we would have splurged on a bigger room). Its just not meant for families or more then 2 people in a room. Also one bit of info is they turn off the AC in oct for the winter season, and fans only blow hot air. It gets humid and stinky in the rooms. Staff gave us a fan.

Excellent location in downtown Vancouver. We walked everywhere to explore the city. Chinatown, Gastown, Yaletown, Granville Island all within one-mile radius. Hotel is located on a busy street so you may hear cars from your room (we were on 2nd floor).

Good location. Good price.

This is a boutique hotel so the rooms vary in size. Ours was larger than that of our friends. We were there for three nights so it worked for us. The rooms are quite noisy because they are on a main drag but at the end of a busy day and a hot shower, sleeping was not a problem. Plugs were a problem....unable to use the coffeemaker in its own space and finding a location was not worth the effort. Ditto for using the tiny ironingboard and iron.

Simple room in a great location.

The hotel is in a great location downtown. Easy to get to by bus, train, or taxi. The room was small but very clean. Free wi-fi and phone were great to use when calling for a cab or trying to figure out where to eat. There was a fridge in the room which made up for having to go out to buy food. Shops and grocery stores were easy to get to. I also ordered pizza and delivery person came up to the room to deliver the food. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to be in the downtown area but don't have a big budget.

Great location, secluded in the middle of town.

Pros: Location. Good size room. Good value.
Cons: Old elevator only holds two people and two bags at a time. But there is a wide stairwell.
Location: In the very middle of town. There are lots of places to eat, shop, and lots of transit options to other places.
3-5 blocks from the nearest SkyTrain, easy walk to transportation to anywhere. We walked from the cruise terminal all the way to the hotel. The hotel isn't a chain and that's a good thing. It's one of the smaller buildings in the area. Only 4 stories tall. The excitement of downtown is very close, but situated so that you can feel like you aren't in the busiest part of town.

The suite

Pros: It's modern style
Cons: The heating...
Location: It was the best, bars, resturants, shopping, Yale Town, we could walk every where :-)
We loved it!!!! Only thing we would change is the heat in the room. We had to ask for them to turn it up. We will be sure to share this great hotel to others and return again. Thank you...

Small hotel

Pros: Location
Cons: The HVAC thermostat should be of a better quality and user friendly, and the refrigerator wasn't very cold after adjusting the temperature to the max.
Location: Shopping, train line, theatre
The pictures on the website are somewhat deceiving or I was given a mediocre room because I got a discounted rate on Travelocity.
