Came to visit Canada! Cute Boutique hotel in downtown Vancouver. Staff were really pleasant. Greeted us with smiles and gave us information about restaurants and nightlife in the area. Rooms were a bit old but clean and comfortable enough. Thank you Moda Hotel and Canada for the hospitality!

I stayed at Moda some 3 years ago, it was good so when he needed a hotel for a night i booked him at Moda. His stay was a disaster since the room he checked into has some musty smell, looks clean but the smell was really disappointing. It's a big relief that he moved to Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre the next day.

Cibo Trattoria (Italian restaurant attached to the hotel) was amazingly delicious, room was great, staff was very friendly. Didn't try the breakfast this time but maybe next time!

We are almost locals that needed a one night stay after an event. The location is perfect, the value was very good. It's a heritage building which gives it that eclectic vibe. Sound does travel thru walls and floors but it was more humorous than annoying.

No cable/TV in the room. Found out on my own, when I called front desk he said Shaw had a power outage and there was no service to some or all of the rooms. He knew in advance and booked me in the room anyways without saying anything. When I asked for some sort of discount or voucher they said there was nothing they could offer me. Very dishonest, scammy way of treating customers.

I asked for bottled water because my partner need to drink her medicine. But the staff told me they don’t have any water to give and just advise me to go to the nearest store outside. It’s quite disappointing that they don’t have any water to offer to their guest and it’s already 11:00pm to go outside instead of resting.
