Overpriced and uncomfortable
The photos are not a true representation of the hotel. It is dated, with no facilities and the most uncomfortable 2 nights sleep I've had in years!! I spent the whole night wrestling with sheets that don't fit and lying on bunched up linen. The hotel needs to upgrade to fitted base sheets that are of the correct size), instead of flat sheets that don't fully tuck in. Also need duvets instead of a blanket. I would not stay again. £300+ per night for this is definitely not worth it, especially as it's in fairly run down part of town. We travelled to many places/cities in Canada. This was the worst hotel and the worst value for money.

Older.charming hotel. Quiet noisy, good if you like the city life. Great.staff. Bed was comfortable. Small bathroom. Blackout blinds were nice. No towel racks

The property was a good experience over all. The problem I had is with Expedia. I reserved for 2 adults and on child and there was only a queen bed in the room. I had to pay for a cot for the 4 days. Also, Expedia consider 17 years old as a child and the hotel say that is 16 years old so I had problem registering my 17 years old daughter. What a rough beginning for our Vancouver journey! I would like to communicate with an Expedia representant please.

The Moda was fine. We really enjoyed the staff, they were helpful, peasant and fun. The building and rooms are dated but we would stay there again. The negatives we had were not their fault. It was noisy but any hotel in downtown Vancouver would be and as with the noise there is a population in downtown that is challenging. The location itself is brilliant for Orpheum and theatre lovers.

Cute boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver! Although the building is old, the rooms were immaculate and stylish, the staff were polite, professional and very helpful. Our room was very quiet, even though we were on a Main Street. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely book here again! Thank you Moda for making our stay exceptional!

The hotel staff were friendly and approachable. They were also helpful and answers our questions with a smile. The room is clean. Me and my cousin had a good sleep and enjoy our stay there. Moda Hotel will now be my top choice in booking a hotel in Vancouver. What I like most are the hotel staff.

A nice little Boutique Hotel in a big city
We had a very nice stay at the Moda for a couple of days prior to our cruise to Alaska. It was in a very good location close to everything we wanted to do the bar and restaurant were awesome in the Moda
