Three night enjoying the beautiful Harbour view. We had a club level room, huge breakfast and wonderful appetizers in evening. Great out door pool and hot tub. Our favorite hotel in the world. Hotel is over the cruise ship terminal, next to the sky train and the beautiful coal harbor. Rent bikes and pedal the 24km of sea wall.

Great view; below-average room

Pros: The views
Cons: The room is a extremely poor value, quite small, and the bathroom is tiny. The hotel could improve by providing more value for the cost.
Location: The location is good for downtown activities and is close to Gastown and Stanley Park
This hotel features great views from rooms looking toward the water but the view costs a lot and the rest of the hotel is quite disappointing. The bathroom is tiny--my small wife can touch all four walls (actually two walls, a door, and the shower curtain) without moving. The light in the bathroom is over the shower so if the curtain is closed the room is too dark to read (after sundown). The sink is outside the bathroom with almost no counter space for cosmetics etc. and no shelves above or below the counter for bathroom stuff. If someone is using a hairdryer you can't speak on the phone in the room or hear the tv because the room is so small and the sink is not cut off from the room. There is one available electric outlet on one side of the bed (more by the tv but not handy to the bed). The air conditioner is noisy and woke us up as it turned on and off during the night. We are used to 5-star hotels where a lot is complimentary and service is excellent but this hotel is far from that. In the Pan Pacific, not even drinking water is complimentary and the people that work there are not service oriented.

Dear John, thank you for taking the time to share about your recent experience with us. We are pleased you enjoyed our prime location and the views offered from your room. It's disappointing to read your comments on value and service, however. We have many different rooms and suites ranging from an above average 350 sq. ft. up to 1650 sq. ft. with various designs and layouts to suit any guests' needs. Our bathrooms are all equipped with at least 3 separate lights (2 on the mirror as shown in your photo, and 1 floodlight on the ceiling). Our rooms and suites offer 2 - 3 separate outlets as well as an iphone docking station next to the bed, and a business docking station attached to the desk and television area. We apologize if this was not made clear to you upon arrival. With regards to bottled water, Vancouver offers some of the best drinking water in the world, and in an effort to help the environment, and we encourage our guest to make use of it. We do offer complimentary WiFi and bottled water to our loyalty program guests, however. This is a free program to join and only takes a few moments to sign up. This is also available to Expedia Elite VIP's. We do apologize if you felt we were not service oriented and your comments will be past along to our teams for their review. Thank you again for staying with us and taking the time to provide feedback. We take pride in providing 1st class service and amenities, and we hope that given the opportunity, we can redeem our reputation on your return.

Excellent hotel and staff

Hotel is beautiful and located by the Port of Vancouver wth an awesome view. The rooms are also clean and comfortable. And the staff is courteous and very friendly. The only complaint is that there are a lot of seaplane tours going on by the port and they begin very early. So expect some plane noise as early as 0600 every morning. But if you're still sleeping in when there's so much to see and do in Vancouver, then it's your loss.

Even though it was their off season, it was great!

Even though it was their off season, we were so taken care of. Everyone was very attentive and helpful. The location was centrally located to all the sights. Public transportation was at our finger tip....so convenient. We didn't want to go to the tourist restaurants, so the knowledgable staff had great recommendations for us,

Pan Pacific - Perfect Experience

Pros: Views, rooms, locale, staff
Cons: Only suggestions for improvements would be to warm up the outdoor pool a bit and perhaps staff this area a bit more fully - food/beverage service was
Location: Close to Gas Town, Robson St., 2 mi. to Stanley Park - great locale!
Our spacious room had the most amazing harbor views - the large windows let us take it all in. Staff was attentive and friendly, room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed outdoor dining, watching the cruise ships come and go and the locale that made us close to everything. Before we left we booked our next visit to this hotel - can't wait to go back.

Clean, elegant, beautiful view of water & mountain

Most comfortable, enjoyable and pleasant stay. This is my family's second time at the Pan Pacific Hotel. Docking cruise ships are surprisingly not noisy or malodorous of exhaust fumes.
