Lovely old house. Clean, quiet, room. Glad I chose one with an ensuite bathroom as it meant I was on the top floor. Perfect location. Walk to inner harbor and downtown shops or to Dallas road for ocean views and lovely fresh air. Nice, safe, neighborhood. Friendly, helpful, staff. Breakfast was good, especially the fresh fruit and home baking, but more healthy options would be nice. I had a lovely stay and will return.

We loved Marketa’s! It was the first stop on our honeymoon trip. The staff were all very friendly, the room was a good price, and the location was very close to the ferry back to the US. We absolutely loved the breakfast! We will be back!

First class!

An excellent choice for a visit to Victoria prior to a cruise. Very close to Fisherman's Wharf, Inner Harbour, rext to restaurants, shops, etc. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will stay there again!

I just wanted a boiled egg with brown toast but this request was refused. I think it would be easier than making eggs benedict. Yogurt muffins and granola had quite a bit of sugar in them. less is sometimes more.

Excellent staff! They are all efficient and helpful and always cheerful. Parking at and around the property is challenging; I would definitely stay here if travelling without a vehicle as it’s convenient to downtown but in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. But parking a car in the James Bay Area is a hassle.
