Staff is not nice, not a lot of amenities, toilet did not flush well, the restaurant doesn’t have good food, a lot if restrictions in the hotel, I felt like I was punished. they didn’t make an effort to make us feel welcome. Continental breakfast was good, the pool is great. I won’t book this hotel again. There are so many hotels in that area that you can book any but this one.

Would I stay again yes the room served it’s purpose and the view made up for its flaws. My Room was clean ,comfy bed -great ocean views. They provide you with 2 bottles of complimentary water. My room had a bit of an oder,toilet didn’t flush well, room could use updating a little outdated.Most of the staff were nice the ones selling excursions where the nicest. Restaurant didn’t offer a variety of food options.Same options daily. A convenient store across the street and not expensive. Outdoor pool was clean.Bar only available in the restaurant other bars were not open.Area was safe and quiet,13 min from the airport.Restaurant in walking distance.Buses run all day.

The room was clean and very nice. The attendant at the entrance found me easily on the reservation list and the desk clerk was very friendly and helpful! The pool was beautiful and refreshing and I had a great room with a large jacuzzi tub and elevated patio off of the pool deck. It was a great stay!

⭐ 1 Star — Cyan Cancun Resort & Spa Review Probably one of the worst resort properties I’ve ever stayed at. Yes, the pool and beach are beautiful, but everything else is substandard, dated, and overpriced. There was no concierge or bell staff to assist with luggage, and guests must carry their own bags up stairs into the hotel. The food selection was extremely limited, and staff constantly pushed for tips that were not earned. Reception staff were indifferent and spoke little English. Guests are repeatedly reminded to return key cards and pool towels—or face extra charges. While the room rate initially seemed attractive, the property finds every possible way to charge more once you arrive. I stayed two nights and actually forfeited a fully paid third night just to leave early—that’s how disappointing the experience was. Under no circumstances could I recommend this hotel, and I will never stay here again.

Maintenance is the main word here.This hotel used to be the Bel air hotel which open in 2006. very normal for Cancun to change names, owners etc… and then reopen as a” new place” but here you’ll find yourself going back in time to an old hotel with older facilities, missing items in menu and a top front line beach access.For a 1 night stop before going to A close by island is ok.For a whole vacation experience, it’s not my type of place but I must mention that the beach is beautiful and pretty isolated due it’s location in Punta Nizuc, far from hustle and bustle of Cancun.Now, since it’s an old hotel with a new name,they’re old style rooms so they are big ( old doors, old balcony window lock not working, small balcony no chairs but…View from room is astonishing and to sleep with window open listening to the waves crash makes u forget the sink fosset don’t drain or the tacos in restaurant at 5 dollars are kids size. At least there is an Oxo convenience store across the street which save my late night jet lag hunger with some ham and fake cheese ( yes fake, it’s even advertised on the label) croissants that you can heat in a microwave. There is really nothing in the proximity so be aware. If youre not picky, this is a good stop.Personnel is friendly, thank you guys.
