The room was very clean and the staff was great. The food was also wonderful, typically at an all closer resort. The food is subpar, but this resort had wonderful food! The location of the resort was also amazing! Beaches all around you very walkable to lots of fun, different bars and restaurants as well shopping…. The only downfall about the resort I would say it is very slow. Sitting at the pool, walking around the community. There are no activities. If you were looking for a very quiet resort and just hanging out, this is the place. If you’re looking for stuff going on, I would keep looking. Also, on other side note, the room was huge and really amazing but the bed was not that comfortable and our room was right off the main drive so we could hear music and always until 2 o’clock in the morning.

WOW!! Privilege Aluxes. You hotel was my husbands pick & honestly I didn't know what the expext. This was our first time here. We'll definitely be back & we miss you already!! Great room with a king size bed. Great place, very clean, loved the beach & pool area. Staff very friendly, great food on site, no small kids, close to shopping, other restaurants & absolutely lobed that Nobody was trying to push the sell of their time shares on to us. The only draw back as we did alot of time on the beach throughout the day alot of vendors were coming up to us trying to sell their merchandise. Having your beach roped off would help prevent this thus allowing your customers the relaxation they came there for. Thank you for a wonderful Holiday vacation.

We loved staying at Privilege Aluxes! They upgraded our room to the suite, overlooking the ocean. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The staff were all really nice and helpful, and the food was really good too. Everything was very close and easy to get to. We would definitely stay here again!

The staff was very friendly and welcomed us with champagne upon our arrival. The resort is nice and conveniently located within a short walking distance of the downtown area with all the shops, bars, and restaurants. We opted for the all-inclusive option and there were several restaurants as part of the resort to choose from. The food was wonderful especially the breakfast from Playa Norte. We had one complaint that we shared with the front desk which was a bunch of small bugs in the room. We were in building one and our view was of the cemetery and another hotel. In speaking with other guests, they shared that they had issues in building one and got moved to other buildings that were much nicer. I would recommend asking for 4 or 6 based on what we were told.

All inclusive was the way to go. Super nice suite. Staff were above and beyond. The hotel looks pretty new, everything was pristine. I had trouble choosing which restaurant to eat at and room service was all we did for the first 24 hours being tired from travelling. Aluxes is our go-to place to stay on Isla. Best bang for the dollar.

Upon checking in, there was no one to greet us due to lobby renovations (which we were not warned about in advance and created a very hectic experience). On checking into the room, it had the strongest smell of mildew of any place we have ever stayed, and we could not stay for health reasons. We found other island accommodations, but the hotel declined to refund any money for the nights we didn't use. We were disappointed by our experience here.

We love staying at Privilege Aluxes in Isla Mujares! The beach is beautiful, the pool and grounds are relaxing and great, the rooms are immaculately clean and the staff is very friendly and attentive. We learned that many guests continue to come back year after year - because it is such a lovely place! Although you can choose an affordable all inclusive option (or just go with the included breakfast - which I highly recommend eating on the beautiful beach) it’s a small resort so the atmosphere is very mellow and relaxing and not the typically overcrowded all inclusive experience. Huge shout out to Andres and Jesus who took great care of us and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and luxurious. We will be back. Ty!
