Myself and 3 family members stayed here for 1 night on a layover to Edinburgh from New Orleans. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were very clean and spacious with comfortable beds, good showers and great amenities. Breakfast was included and we were very impressed with the variety and quality of the food. Buses and the subway are a short distance away. Lots of good choices of eateries nearby. Would recommend and definitely stay if ever in Long Island City again. Thank you!

The property was very accessible to the subway which was great. The room was clean and breakfast had a good variety. The staff were very friendly. My only negative would be the beds. They are hard as a rock and uncomfortable to sleep on.

Good find in LIC. Close to subway- super easy 10 min ride to Manhattan. Several good cafes within walking distance. Room and bathroom were very clean. Would prefer no carpet on the floor. Easy check in. Safe neighborhood. Great value.

Great location, 5 min walk to main train station that takes 10 min to Manhattan and 25min to LGA. Clean room, elevator works, good and safe neighborhood, breakfast was decent.

Nice staff. Average breakfast. Maybe more variety at breakfast. Hotel location was convenient for subway access to airport and Manhattan. Just a block or two away. Room was clean. Nice bathroom. Bed was firm but not hard. TV system not easy to operate. Only big concern was that the storage room for luggage lacked any reasonable security. Looked unlocked most of the time relying on the vigilance of the front desk employee. The premises outside was limited parking. Simply drop offs. Hard to tell if neighborhood was safe or unsafe. There is graffiti and a car repair adjacent to the hotel. But overall hotel was a great bargain and convenient to subway access. There were a lot of restaurants within walking distance along with a Walgreens which is a big plus as well.

Everything was great except the staff! Which is so odd - a nice, clean hotel in not the best area - very clean, well appointed, etc. Then, my AC did not work (was 85 degrees outside). The clerk said it worked. I invited him to verify - he seemed unwilling. So I made him look. He agreed it did not work. His solution: open the window! Then his second solution: "well, this is the room you paid for". I became irate and demanded another room with working AC. He seemed upset with my request and implied they were sold out. I brought out my angry side and he suddenly said, "oh look, another room just became available". PS - it was 11 pm. Rooms just do not become available at 11 pm. The second room was fine - nice AC, clean and neat. 20 minutes later I get a phone call: "why aren't you paying for your room!". Huh? (That's what I said). He told me that since I "requested" a different room, I had to pay that extra price. R U kidding me?! I argued and it was clear - pay more or sleep on the sidewalk. So I paid. Then I get another call, this time with him screaming at me. My card was declined because I forgot to approve it for out of state travel. He was on the verge of insanity, going off on me. I was shocked. So I paid with another card, problem solved. In the morning, I explained the situation to the people at check out, and they expressed zero concern for my stay. Summary: nice simple hotel in LIC, absolutely horrible staff.

Stay was overall quite pleasant, very close to the metro to get to Manhattan. A few local convenience stores and food options nearby. Breakfast was good, hot plates and cold options. Biggest downside were the very, very firm mattresses. Hotel is otherwise clean, staff are friendly and helpful.

Hotel was nice and clean. Room is on the smaller side, but it has everything you need. The hotel is nearby public transportation. The breakfast was not great. Food quality was bad, no good or healthy options.
