The rooms were clean, spacious, and serviced daily, which we really appreciated. We stayed in Room 205, and unfortunately, the bathroom had a noticeable sewer smell. When we mentioned it to the receptionist, there seemed to be a misunderstanding, and we were informed the hotel was fully booked, so changing rooms wasn’t an option. There was also construction happening during the day, and as a result, the pool couldn’t be used because small white debris was falling into the water. That said, the staff were fantastic, and the location was excellent — both definite highlights of our stay. I would have happily given 5 stars if not for the bathroom odor issue. Overall, I still totally recommend this place and believe it’s a great option, especially because of the service and location.

The room was ok, kinda loud with construction workers working which I didn’t know about until check in time which I couldn’t do anything about! Front desk staff were giggling at me because I didn’t know Spanish! No ice machine on property, no face towel and water pressure was weak at best. Probably won’t stay there again!

well, unfortunately, I'm allergic to chlorine so having a pool in the middle of the building and having every single door open onto the pool with zero other ventilation in my humble opinion was not a great design, but it's your choice and I hope you're happy with it

The room was basic, cleaned daily, staff really helpful. Nights were loud as we were staying on left side of building so we’d hear the bars pumping out music until 5am. Earplugs sorted that. AC in room was nice. Don’t expect luxury, you’re really just sleeping here and spending the rest of the day doing excursions and hanging out on beach. Hotel is 5 min walk from beach and 5th avenue. The only downside is that I had the hotel pre book transportation for me to get back to airport on departure day, we did this two days in advance. I put down a deposit with the hotel. The transportation never arrived and we almost missed our flight. We had to scramble to make last minute alternatives at 6:30 in the morning. Hotel only reimbursed us 70% of our deposit paid for the non existent transportation. I’m sure this wasn’t intentional and most likely the language barrier didn’t help. I’d still stay here again on future trips.

Formal Complaint – Failure to Disclose Construction, Misrepresentation, and Fraudulent Practices I am submitting a formal complaint regarding my stay at this hotel due to severe misrepresentation, failure to disclose active construction, and deceptive practices by front desk staff. At no point prior to booking or check-in was I informed that the property is undergoing major construction, including the addition of two full floors to the building. During my stay, there was constant and extremely loud drilling and construction noise from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., making the room uninhabitable. This was not minor maintenance; it was heavy construction that should have required the hotel to be closed to paying guests. Reception staff continue to assign rooms directly affected by the noise. Operating a hotel during eight hours a day of heavy construction without disclosure is consumer fraud. In addition, guests are deliberately misled about transportation services. The receptionist falsely stated that no alternative transportation options were available and quoted 1,250 MXN for an airport transfer. This is significantly above the market rate, which is typically 700–800 MXN to Cancun Airport, and alternative services are readily available. Providing false information to justify inflated charges is fraud. I am requesting a full refund or a full investigation by Profeco will be initiated. I am a Permanent Resident of Mexico, working in tourism. This is Fraud.
