There was no one there for 20 minutes to check anyone in. They had a sign - Be back shortly. The elevator was out of service. The bathroom floor was sticky like someone had spilled a coke. The coffee machine was in an awkward place with too short of a cord and also it overflowed. When i checked out my door was almost blocked with the cleaners cart and a bin overflowing with dirty linen, like i had to struggle around it with my bags to get out. Would not recommend it.

Very old building that needs a lot of work and the rooms. Room was mostly cleaned and affordble. Staff is very nice and helpful. Also very close to save on food memorial arena for the concert.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an experience I had during the check-in process for a recent booking made for my employees. Upon arrival, the hotel management informed us that they do not accept business credit cards for payment unless the business owner is present. This policy was unexpected, and I was required to go to the reception desk to discuss the matter further. Unfortunately, the staff member I spoke to was unhelpful and insisted that this was a new rule, leaving us with no choice but to resolve the situation on the spot. I believe it would have been beneficial for your hotel to communicate such policies during the booking process. If we had been informed of this requirement, we could have made alternative arrangements and avoided this inconvenience. Additionally, I sensed a level of bias in the handling of this situation, which I found concerning. As a resident of Victoria for the past 25 years, I have never encountered such a policy, particularly one that seems to impact companies booking accommodations for their employees in this manner. This experience has left a negative impression, and I hope you will consider revisiting this policy for the convenience of your business clients.

We were pleasantly surprised, this hotel though a little dated in general decor, was really clean and comfortable. We loved that all of the beds are king size and our room which was just a basic two bed room was pretty big lots of room for us and our kids. We will be back for sure!
