Patio Paradise

We stayed at Jubilee Mountain Homestead while visiting family in Black Mountain. The space was perfect for our family of four (kids 6 and 4). The kitchen/laundry had everything we needed for quick meals, the kids slept well on the pull-out couch and the jack-and-jill bathroom made the space feel bigger All that being said, we spent nearly all of our non-sleeping time on the patio. The hot tub, fire table, sofa, and rocking chairs, all combined as perfect spots to relax and enjoy the sweeping views. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Black Mountain.

Everything was exactly as described! What a perfect location! Amazing view of the mountains. Great 2 person hot tub. Bed was comfortable. Extremely clean. Homemade cookies were great. Black Mountain is such a cute town with multiple hiking opportunities. 20 min from Asheville.

Beautiful place with a beautiful view. We truly enjoyed everything this home away from home gave us! The house owners were so nice and gave us many great recommendations! Even made us some wonderful treats when we got there. Will definitely come back.

Beautiful place to stay!

I loved this place so much. I would absolutely go back. It was super clean. The bed was so comfortable and the decor was very nice. My two children, age 10 and age 8, slept on the fold out couch. They both slept really well. The view was incredible of the beautiful mountains. The place was very cozy. We enjoyed being able to be close to the Biltmore and hiking trails for a fall family vacation. Black Mountain is an adorable town to visit, and we did some hiking around this area. We also used the hot tub, and it was very relaxing to use after hiking all day. The seating area outside was so lovely to use in the afternoons to read, rest, drink coffee, and relax for a bit. I would absolutely recommend this to a friend! It was perfect for our family of four!

Thoroughly enjoyed!

We love exploring small towns in this area and Black Mountain was on our list. This apartment was easy to access and a great location with an incredible view - private yet close to everything. The owners thought of everything to make this place comfortable. Especially enjoyed the outdoor space for relaxing in the rockers taking in the mountain vistas. Would definitely return in future years for our annual getaway to the mountains!

Property in excellent condition. Size is good for 2 adults. Very clean & well stocked. Could use updated cookware-fry pan especially. View was gorgeous. Best mattress I have ever slept on. Would love to know the brand. Convenient to visit many mountain areas. Enjoyed our stay!

Perfect fall getaway!

My daughter and I spent 4 days at this property in Black Mountain and it was perfect. The apartment is comfortable, clean, and provided the perfect accommodations for our stay. We loved the fire table in the evenings as well as the proximity to downtown Black Mountain and the nearby hiking trails as well as the short drive to Asheville. We will recommend this property to friends as a perfect pick and hope to return to it ourselves!

Amazing Views

Absolutely wonderful! Lovely property in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the foothills of NC. Black Mountain is a quaint town with great shops, restaurants and a few local breweries. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful getaway!

Everything was well thought out, from the extra hooks for towels in the bathroom to the instructions for the hot tub. Absolutely no complaints. I totally recommend to anyone needing a relaxing getaway!

Great time

We had questions prior to booking and they answered completely! The pictures were accurate to the property. It is a beautiful property and area. Far away from the hussle to be relaxing but close enough to get to activities quickly! The property owners were out of town but their brother in law was there. Steve was very friendly. We had nice conversation and he offered suggestions of the area. He also offered us eggs from the chickens on the property for breakfast. The highlights were the porch and sitting in there in the morning and evening. The have a very sweet cat that would greet you outside every morning with a meow and be there in the evening when you got back. Would definitely recommend and would really love to stay there again!

Owners onsite were great. Lovely property with great amenities. Kitchen small for any serious cooking, but decently appointed. Apt best suited for a couple, having our child with us made it a bit tight. Highly recommend!

Mountain View Retreat

The chalet/apartment is beautiful and just as described. The view and patio area were spectacular. Loved the hot tub for two and the firepit table for relaxing nights on the deck. Lots of hiking trails in the area. Twenty minute ride into Ashville. The town of Black Mountain has some great shops and restaurants also. I would highly recommend booking the Seven Sisters Chalet.

A little piece of mountain heaven

This cozy chalet is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway. You feel secluded, but have all of the amenities you’d find at a fine hotel (and a few more like a private hot tub and fire pit), yet you are super close to downtown Black Mountain, as well as Asheville. The view is amazing, too. Mountain life IS the best life. And our personal plug for a local spot: if you’re a biscuit fans like we are, a visit (or three) is a must to the Blue Ridge Biscuit Company. They are hands down the best biscuits we’ve had a really long time. Black Mountain is our new favorite small town. Book now; you won’t regret it!
