I didn't like that they didn't have good entertainment. One night they had a fire show, which was nice, but there was nothing for the other nights. My family stayed at more engaging hotels. I also thought it was weird that staff didn't know how to get around the hotel itself or activities outside of the hotel, it made me feel uncomfortable.

When you walk in it smells moldy in the lobby and when you walk into your room moldy again the AC in the room barley works and kept turning off and we wouldn’t notice until we would start sweating from how hot it was getting. There is cockroaches in the room they would come out especially at night which was nasty. Food isn’t even all that if you’re expecting Mexican food you ain’t getting “Mexican” food. They have thousands of rooms but only a few beach chairs and umbrellas to offer so we obviously didn’t get a spot to sit at the beach. Over all I give this hotel a 3/5.

Staff are extremely rude if you do not know the language, very disappointing. Needs a very BIG upgrade it definitely is not a 5 or 4 star!!!! The only good thing was the beach.

Came in today from my flight. Arrived at 11 AM to emporio. They told us that the room was not ready until 3 pm. Okay, no problem. We show up at 3:02 and took approximately 40 minutes to get attended only to hear the front desk that our room was not ready. Apart from that, a flight crew came in did not have to wait the line, were able to get their room right away. It’s unfair we are paying for our rooms and are not even able to use our room at the time their website says and what they say. Throughout our stay we saw various cockroaches. We did tell staff. I never had this problem before. Really didn’t like how things changed

Terrible service from staff, even when tipping. They would completely forget about our drink orders and never return. They were nice, but you have to work to get service. The check in process is crazy long. I really don’t understand why it’s such a process. Did not feel safe to venture off property, and even if I did there’s nothing to see anyways except a 7-11. Food…meh. Not great. Many things were not labeled so we had no idea what mystery meat was before us. For what it is, it’s ok. If you’re looking for a budget resort and only plan to sit poolside, it’ll do the job.

The check in was disorganized and chaotic, but other than that was a very nice experience. However, some of the railing around restaurants and stairs felt loose and dangerous I would never lean on those.

This resort was not well maintained, understaffed and overpriced. Checking in was a nightmare. I actually left because there were so many people in the lobby. There was mold in the bathroom, they had plastic covering fences which just looked so tacky. I only had one thing to eat and definitely wouldn’t recommend their food. When I was checking out they tried billing me extra for food and drinks that should have been all inclusive and it was food I never ate.

Property and facilities are clean however some areas are dated and in need of refurbishment. There is building work going on which I was not aware of before booking. Asked for a high chair for a baby in the sports bar for the baby to eat, was told no. Had to go and get it myself from the restaurant. Very poor service. Food is generally acceptable. Service is hit and miss in the buffet restaurant. Had an amazing sea view from the room. For the price it was ok but I wouldn’t return.
