If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Horrible experience at Emporio. They stole my AirPods, didn’t not have functioning elevators which was a huge inconvenience for me because I had a baby stroller. When I asked to speak to a manager, they refused and the “Concierge” Alejandra Bravo just rolled her eyes.

First let me say, due to getting food poisoning from their Italian restaurant and then having to spend $380usd on their doctor to feel better and cold shower in the room, I have to give this place a bad review as they made me sick! I came completely healthy off the plane from USA and ate in the Italian restaurant upon reception's recommendation. Well the tomato sauce on the pasta, I will guess, was sitting around for many areas growing bad things in it and that is what made me terribly ill. The doctor Dr Aranza was excellent thankfully, diagnosed me correctly, and I started to feel better after the injection and pills and several more hours of sleep. Her and the staff at the gift shop who helped me buy an outfit when I felt terrible were the best people at the hotel. The cleaners were also excellent. The room had a terrific view, the air con, tv and internet were good, and the beach was beautiful. However I was scared to eat anything tasty the rest of my trip and just kept to bland food. I cannot recommend this hotel due to them poisoning me.

We stayed at Emporio Cancun with my kids and overall had a very good experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and family-friendly. Big shoutout to the hostess Jenifer Rangel — she was always so friendly and made sure everything was great during our stay. The only downside for us was the rule about no kids in the main pool, which we didn’t really like. Other than that, everything was really good.

Our swim-up ocean front room was not really that. It was just a room on the pool and, because of that, it had ZERO privacy - people walking just steps outside our room. Really really awkward. Would NOT recommend.

Perfect resort and top-tier service by a very hospitable and well trained staff! Only negative is the lack of vegetarian food which hurts the most for folks who eat only vegetarian meals. There’s literally no vegetarian food, except for cookies, desserts, rice, guacamole and crackers. The restaurant manager, customer service team, chef and the staff were empathetic towards our plight so went above and beyond to make couple of vegetarian items for us. Apart, I’ll reiterate it’s been a fabulous stay at Hotel Emporio! No complaints there!!!

Ok, muy mala experiencia, la verdad no le recomendaría a nadie este hotel. Muy ma servicio, nadie sabe nada, mucha demora en restaurantes, las mesas buffet tienden a no tener nada en la noche. Solo dos restaurantes y hay que reservar no se cuantos días antes. Las piscinas frías y nadie tiene información como encender los jacuzzi y la lista sigue.
