We have stayed here years past and the hotel has aged but continues to be top notch with service. To be fair the room we were given was not one of the Fiesta Rewards rooms (this is this brands term for their hotel club rewards program) so other rooms are more well maintained/updated i would imagine. Our experience was enhanced by the service of especially Wilbur and José in the buffet restaurant and Ivan at the pool!

We stayed at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun for a week. Overall, the location is good, but the resort itself fell short of expectations. There were very few activities offered, and the service didn’t feel like a 5-star experience—more like a 3-star at best. During our stay, even when the resort wasn’t busy, staff often seemed hard to find when we needed assistance. The breakfast and dinner buffets were quite basic and smaller compared to other resorts we’ve stayed at. We visited the Riviera Maya about two years ago, and the food there was noticeably better. Overall, the experience was okay, but not exceptional. I’d rate it 3 out of 5.

Beautiful resort. However, our bedroom felt humid. We always stay beachfront in hotels but for some reason, this resort’s room felt damp the whole time. Our sheets felt cold but in a damp way. Food was only good at steakhouse and buffet inside. Outdoor dining food was terrible and birds eating off the serving spoons didn’t seem to bother the staff much. Loved their indoor buffet. Green juice was so good! They will pressure you to buy timeshare which they call something else. We told them “no” for about 10-15 mins and he was nice but kept coming up with reasons you should buy! They do tell you in advance it’s 1.5 hours and nice gifts after presentation but this is a high-pressure selling resort. Skip the presentation!

Amazing place for family vacation, we loved our 8 nights stay at this resort. Food was delicious and a lot of variety. Bartenders / waiters were always attentive and never missed the request in the first time ! Daily night shows were amazing ! Pool water temperature could be a bit cold at times during morning but definitely warm during the evenings .
