We loved all of the service from the front desk to housekeeping, and especially the bartenders! The A/C worked and was awesome in our room and all the restaurants. We would definitely return and I wish we could go back this weekend too!

Overall it was a good experience. I did love the roof top access as this was a calmer quieter area. I wouldn’t advertise a “beach view” it’s more like a “Laguna view”. Food could be better. We were not a huge fan of the French cuisine. I wasn’t a fan of the advertisement of going to tour another resort. I am on vacation and would enjoy it without the advertisement. With all that said, I would still stay at this resort again.

Beautiful Location. Great Size Pools, Lots Of Seating. However The Only Restaurant With Decent Food Is The Buffet And Its Only Open For Breakfast & Lunch. If You Want Mexican Style Food They Only Have The Taco Truck That Opens Late. The Restaurants On Site Need More Seating Especially If The Buffet Isnt Open For Dinner. The Menus Are Also Not That Good. If You’re Looking For Like A Steak, Fish, Theres Little To None Of Those Options. Overall A Beautiful Place To Stay But I Was Highly Disappointed Food Wise

The property was brand new but it is only half way open. Also at the beach club there is a lot of construction right next to it so I was not the most relaxed Ming due to the noise. The people and the food was amazing though. I would definitely revisit this resort in a few years once everything is completed.

This property is fairly new and still in the making. The hotel itself is nice but there is a lot they need to work on. Entertainment and activities needs improvement. There was a bracelet making activity, but they only had 10 seats...so we could not even participate. The hotel is pretty big and they did not take into account the amount of people who to participate. Food needs a lot of improvement. The pool is great.

Overall great property..beautiful beach area by bus…have to upgrade to enjoy rooftop views and more food..really only complaint was all pool bars close early and you cant go inside in a bathing suit to order drinks..also bathroom is a long way from the pool..they had the best bartenders…Carlos and Eduardo were the best..did the vacation club presentation and said it would be 1.5 hours…for coco bongo tickets…took a total of 3 hrs

We had an incredible stay at the Hyatt Grand Vivid Island Resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. Oscar, the bell boy, was especially kind and helpful with our bags, setting the tone for a great experience. We upgraded to the Vantage Club- and the rooftop pool is sooo dreamy, the drinks are stronger up there as well. The dining options were varied and memorable. Francisco at the Mediterranean restaurant was wonderful. Oishii, Margarito, Carlos, and Daniel gave us fantastic service. Le Lys, Jesus and the manager went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of. Aglio was just okay—food and service were fine, though our server seemed a little grumpy. Vivid Bites was a highlight—the tamales, enchiladas, and drinks (especially the tamarind and horchata) were excellent, with great service all around. The Beach Club was another favorite: the fish tacos, beef tacos, and poke nachos were delicious, and the drinks hit the spot. Service can be a little slow when it’s super busy, but the staff always remained kind and attentive. If you love coffee, don’t miss the carancillio—it’s a treat! The sound meditation was peaceful, especially in the serene space below the deck. The violinist at Amber Night was unbelievably talented, and the tarot reader added a special touch. At Vantage Bar, the drinks were a bit stronger than downstairs, but both spots were fun in their own way. The rooms were so comfy and clean we didnt wanna leave, we will be back!

This was our second time at this resort and it is the best place to stay. All of the staff is extremely awesome and they have many options of restaurants. The Italian and the Sushi are the best!!!! Amazing place to stay and me and my family will definitely be back next summer!
