Great resort. Have stayed here 3 times. Supper friendly and lovely staff! Food/ restaurants are also great and easy to book. Best part is it's relaxed feel....can go down to pools/ beach at 10am and still get a lounger. Only issue this year was that our daughter turned 13-years old, which Ventus considers a 'junior' and charged an extra $329 USD for the week. Ended up getting a refund for the extra cost from Expedia, but took a lot of back-and-forth emails after initially being told nothing could be done. We loved this resort and will book here again.

We paid for the platinum upgrade to a junior suite for $950.00 and our room was next to the Constuction site. We were greeting every morning but Sunday to jackhammers at 9 AM

Loved that there were a variety of restaurants included in the all inclusive. Some of the menus have odd combinations, for example Chinese dishes on the menu of the Mediterranean restaurant but you could always put together a decent meal. The coffee shop was great and I would highly recommend Koby, the Japanese, too. Good cocktails, though these could be a little inconsistent at times as some bar staff would not make them as well as others did. Overall we really enjoyed our stay as a family and would go back. Kids loved the kids club nd went daily.
