Very cozy. Very small but expected with the low price.
Not very clean and a bit run down. Air conditioning not the greatest and issues with the toilet.
Getting a package deal with this property has allowed me to be able to afford and bring my wife to Mexico and get much needed and affordable dental works. I have nothing but good reviews about this property.
Modest hostel-like room, comfortable and great value
The accommodations are very small: just enough room for a bed, mini-refrigerator, and bathroom. Nevertheless, it was comfortable thanks to the air conditioning and the ceiling fan, and for the cost it was a great value.
Communicating with Manuel was excellent: he responded quickly and was very accommodating and helpful. When I visited there was an election underway, so no alcohol sales were allowed, but Manuel gave me a 6-pack of beers that he'd already purchased, which was a very nice touch.
Like everywhere in Centro San Miguel, it's a quick walk to everywhere: the ferry, restaurants, the plaza. Taxis are easily available if you don't want to walk.
The room was part of a larger complex of similar rooms that all open onto a courtyard. A common kitchen is off the courtyard as well.
The unit itself was fine for staying in for a few days, but the bathroom construction isn't great. The toilet is so close to the shower that when you sit on the toilet, you have the shower curtain on your shoulder. The shower curtain also does a very poor job of keeping water inside the shower area, and lots of water gets on the rest of the bathroom floor, escaping both under the bottom of the curtain, and spraying over the top of it. The only other complaint is that there doesn't seem to be any way to turn off the ceiling fan, so if the breeze or noise is too much, you just have to endure it.
All in all it was a very good value and I would stay there again. The annoyances are minor and not deal-breakers.
